Going to 160 Driving Academy was a great experience for me! I had prior experience with most of the maneuvers but everything else they were happy to teach me. I was able to complete my entire time at the school in about a month and a half. Passed my road test first try thanks to learning from everyone around me. Everyone working there was great, Amy does an excellent job in the office! In the yard I was thankful for all the knowledge, truck driving stories/experiences and help that I got from Leslie, Tom, and Miguel. Kyle took me on the road first in an automatic truck and Jason did an excellent job teaching me all about shifting and driving a manual transmission truck! Thank you so much everyone at 160, I appreciate you all!!!

160 Driving Academy is the school to go to if you want to get your CDL. The instructors there give you a step by step approach when learning maneuvers especially Joe and Ray. The new instructors they have now are just as good and very helpful shoutout to Tim and Jay. And Maria is very good with teaching pretrip and is very patient with the students. By the time you leave the yard with your CDL you’re going to be ready for when you get in the trucking industry. Again come on down to 160 Driving Academy in New Britain,CT and get that CDL. Thank you again Joe,Ray,Tim,Jay, and Maria.

Can’t believe I payed 5k to go to a school and learn everything on my own with no guidance from instructors nothing seems they are all about their money and signing people up and that’s it now I’m stuck with no guarantee I will maintain this license then if u fail u have to re enroll and pay again smh tor someone who’s never driven big rigs before this is some big time bs wish I would of did more research before wasting my time and money

Amy and the crew were great. Kyle the driving instructor always trying to help people out, he will go out his way to make sure you are good. Kori, Vic , Jason and Tom will always help out and give you advices. I had a great experience. Graduate first try.

Great school that will get you real world ready for the world of trucking! I wanna thank all the instructors that helped me on the way! Coming to 160 driving academy In New Britain ct was a challenge. I appreciate the concern and care that I received. I am grateful to have achieved training that allowed me to accomplish getting my CDL LICENSE. To God be all the glory. I put in the work that lead to me accomplishing the goal. Great job 👏.

Joe, Maria, Tim, Ray, Tom and Jay at the 160 Driving School New Britain location are all truly professionals. If you want to get your class A CDL with real world training this is the place. Amy in the office will get you started and guide you through the paperwork all the way to the end. Joe manages the yard and his instructors with a no nonsense approach. He is very in tune with his staff, supportive of his students and what they need to achieve their goals of a CDL License. Joe's door is always open for questions, concerns or even if you are having a personal issue (I did). I researched all of the local schools and met with them personally and I can not recommend 160 Driving in New Britain enough.

Listen to what they say; because that is your future red flag, they want you to fix!!! They would get you straight, right, left, everything to professional CDL driver. Look for Ray he is the man.!!
