Our son began math tutoring at Huntington Learning Center in 10th grade to catch up with his school’s math curriculum. Paul, the instructor at Huntington, was incredibly supportive and attentive. He tailored his teaching to align with the school’s syllabus and patiently explained any questions our son had. When school lectures moved too quickly or lacked depth, Paul took the time to ensure our son fully understood the concepts and developed strong problem-solving skills. Thanks to Paul and Huntington, our son was able to maintain straight A’s in math throughout high school.

Frank and Montse at Huntington also worked closely with us to create a comprehensive plan to prepare our son for his SAT test. This helped our son to obtain a solid score in his SAT. With Huntington’s help, our son was ultimately admitted to his dream college. He’s now on his way to an exciting new chapter in life.

We are deeply grateful to Frank and Montse, and Huntington Learning Center for their dedication and expertise, which made such a meaningful impact on our son’s academic journey.

My 17 year old high school senior needed a 1200 on his SAT to qualify for a tuition reduction to the college he wants to attend. His proceeding score was 1080. We did a three week crash course, and he succeeded with a 1210, so we got just what we paid for.
The folks here are pleasant, and strike me as wise and intelligent. We really could not have asked for more. Thank you all!

My son started in second grade with the center’s help to improve his reading and writing as well as testing skills. We did reach our goal to get target class placement t third grade. Tuition is pricy but their tutoring is effective.

Our daughter did not reach her goal here. We came here at the beginning of the school year to ensure our daughter kept up with math at school. We we're mainly looking for a tutor to work on the math she was learning at school. She took Huntington's test and presented us with their plan. It included working on English which we didn't want but were pushed to include and to just "trust the plan". Our kid did several hours a week at Huntington for several months. The math they went over at Huntington was different than the math they were learning at school - it may be math standards that she would have eventually gone over at school but it was not what she was working on at school at the time. We asked to coordinate with her school on the math to work on and they did speak to the teacher once, maybe twice, but nothing changed. The first big assessment at school she did poorly on, but we were encouraged to "trust the plan". The second test at school she did a little better. The last assessment at Huntington she did fantastic on, but the assessment at school she did not. When I talked to the staff at Huntington about this they kept referring back to how well my daughter did on the Huntington test, but the goal was not to do well at Huntington - the goal was to do well at school. Our daughter did not reach her goal here. We eventually got a tutor to simply spend extra time on homework and it has made a world of difference. Big waste of money and even bigger waste of time. 2 stars given because the staff was very professional.

Huntington Learning Center has been an amazing experience. We’ve had 2 kids attend with excellent results. They have helped tremendously keep them on pace and give them strategies to use in the classroom. They know the Cobb County curriculum and what they are learning in the classroom and compliment their tutoring to that. They are constantly assessing to make sure the progress they are making is sticking and it does. I don’t know where we would be without Huntington, the service they provide is invaluable.
