This facility is supposed to be helping children.
My son was accepted for admission. Came with his packed bag and turned away because he wasn’t prepared to answer assessment questions that made him uncomfortable
There was a prescreening so why would they have us come all the way there
Considering this was his first time even attempting to get help and was being addressed by complete strangers it’s understandable that he was reluctant to cooperate.
The director of the program made the decision to deny my sons admission based on his aggressive past.
Not even giving him a chance after I pleaded with him that this program could save his life
He seemed to think my son should be in a detention or boarding school and not a therapeutic environment.
Maybe they didn’t know he was black and from Urban New Haven and they accept “his kind” there.

Nashire/Naz here I’ve been here 2 times and it was a great learning experience they do care and help at least most of the workers I knew did there is a few things that could be tweaked but you guys are doing amazing
