I cannot recommend Sylvan of Anderson enough. We had no idea what to do when our baby in Kindergarten was struggling to read to us. His MAP reading scores didn't match his oral reading, which also didn't match his sight word recall. We did an initial test with Sylvan & found that what we were seeing was a lack of confidence. He knew how to read, he just needed to believe and know that he could. We spent 5 months in Sylvan and not only does he now read fluently to himself, he reads to us and in front of others. His confidence has gone up tremendously inside and outside of school, you can see the impact throughout his whole life. He went into Sylvan on a reading level E and he's now on a reading level G! Sylvan gave my baby the confidence in himself that I never could. We recommend to everyone who even has a slightest thought that their child may need help, even if your child has good grades but low confidence. If we ever need Sylvan, we will not hesitate to go back.

We’ve been using Sylvan for 2 years now & we absolutely adore this place! Very knowledgeable, accommodating, and they communicate well with parents. My daughter never complains or dreads coming, she actually looks forward to it! We love everyone here but especially the director, Koressa and Jeremy. Before Sylvan, my son was struggling in 5th grade. Academically he was a year and a half behind where he should be and I was very worried. As his mother, I was discouraged because I knew I couldn’t get him to where he needed to be. So I found Sylvan. The director along with admin staff at Sylvan made us feel very welcome and right at home. We have only been apart of the Sylvan family for about a month but this has been one of the best decision we made.
