We recently took six lessons with Ricardo Sopin and loved every minute. He could not be a better teacher - a beautiful, award winning dancer himself and an excellent, kind, patient and encouraging instructor. I would highly recommend.

The people who work here are extremely rude and condescending.

I asked if it was possible to learn a simple dance in the next 10 days, having time for 3-4 sessions. Short time frame, I know. I knew a "no" was certainly a likely response. However, the representative scoffed, laughed, and listed all the things it would be impossible to learn in 10 days. "You wouldn't expect to learn how to play the piano in 10 days would you? Or learn a new language? Or how to drive a car?"

A simple, "No, we aren't able to help you" would certainly have sufficed. The ridicule was mean-spirited and entirely unnecessary.

Solid wedding preparation. I must concede, I was reluctant to have lessons at all, but was very glad I did. It made the whole first dance far less stressful.

The instructors at The Greenwich studio are absolutely outstanding! They are world champions and very patient with the students. I learned how to dance basic salsa very quickly. The evening group classes are free for students and are a great way to improve the dance one is working on. The studio also organizes group outings, we went dancing to the Rainbow Room and Swing 46 and we were able to put in action all the dances we learned. Highly recommend the studio !

This dance school is nothing short of AMAZING! The staff are great teachers, accomplished dancers and kind sincere people as well.
Upon entering, one can immediately appreciate the wonder of it all! The students are all friendly and no one is left out or behind, no matter their level. I never want to leave!

Studio beyond compare! Having danced in Chicago, LA, and NYC, I can say I've never been anyplace else that hits the perfect blend of professional, world-class instruction and supportive, down-to-earth (not to mention fun!) environment the way AM Greenwich does. No pretense or judgment from teachers or other students. The instructors (every one amazing) are ready to match any goal, whether you're looking for social enjoyment, you want to really challenge yourself and push the limits of your dancing, or both. So, come for technique--you'll get plenty of that--but stay for the community. Bottom Line: Each hour I spend here is always the best one of my day. Thanks, AMG!

Love this place! This team knows what they are doing, whether you want to just start dancing and or compete …they will get you there, without you even knowing it …they have such patience and kindness. Everyone should be dancing! Try dancing your heart out!
