Our daughter has been at TLC New Haven since she was 1yo; over 2 years now. We love the teachers she has had at different stages (baby, toddler, prepper), and she adores her teachers. She learns from hands on activities, is nurtured, and has a community of support. The assistant directors are amazingly supportive and helpful as well. I'm so thankful for all of the teachers and staff!

Great school my daughter went there from 6months to one in a half however I just think they are pricy I felt like every few months they went up on price so I took my child out. Other than that if you got it then you got it the school would be great the teachers are nice and they definitely teacher your kids there loved it.

Our daughter started going to TLE at 4 months old and is now 17 months old…
The teachers in both the infant and toddler classrooms are highly experienced and supportive.
Our daughter’s confidence and strong sense of self has developed beautifully by the partnership with the teachers who understand the family’s goals for their child
Management is remarkable in understanding the parents concerns and managing the child’s needs accordingly
Courtney, Marissa, latifa, Ms Paulette, Ms Nancy, Allie Ms princess and Mr Markel are all amazing

I had a bad experience and so did my child. My son has a metabolic disorder and I was very clear on the standard of care he needed and the director (which was fired or quit shortly after) reassured me that those standards would be met. The first week my son attended those standards were not met & my child was placed in different rooms daily with teachers that were not aware of my son’s care plan. My son smelled of pee and sometimes had poop streaks in his pants even after providing wipes. My son cried at every drop off because he did not like the teachers, and he has NEVER done that before. The teacher’s response to me comforting my child at drop off was that “ I was making it worse by babying him and that he won’t die from crying”. The younger male teacher has a bad attitude and when I mentioned the poop in my child’s underwear, he responded that “oh he had said he pooped but I didn’t see anything in the toilet so I didn’t wipe him”.
I had to pull him from the center and still pay for his last week. This
Place needs more experienced staff and needs to uphold the standard of care they claim to have!

I was a little worried at first because it’s hard to trust people with my baby, but from the first day I can see that he loved the center. He is in infant room A. Both teachers are very attentive and very helpful and both ladies always communicate very well with me about his needs. Thank you so much Ms. Paulette and Ms. Ali.

The atmosphere at this day care is great. The Director Johanna is so great. She is so helpful and understanding. My daughter loves it here. I love the events for her and the the other kids. I feel good leaving my daughter at a daycare knowing that she’s learning something and she’s at safe place

My family has been part of TLE for close a year now, and we haven’t had a single issue with teachers. They are incredible! Ms. Courtney is very nurturing, welcoming, and instills confidence in our children. Ms. Moe is fair, has great strategies when disciplining, has high expectations of our kids, and has made such a positive impact on potty training my son. I can not thank them enough!

Not the greatest but not the worst. There should be more tainings for teachers on how to help children with emotional needs. If it wasn't for Ms. Moe my son would not have stayed as long as he did. She understood that not all kids are the same and you have to pay attention to see how they learn and respond and go from there. She spends time with them and engages with the kids in a loving supportive way. She was who my son needed for the little time he was there and I am grateful to her! Ms. Nia was great too!! Those two teachers are how all teachers should strive to be like...
