Being a physical therapist who helps aerial circus artists stay healthy, I couldn’t have wished for a better studio to work closely with!

When I first met the owner (Stacey), I immediately knew I was in the right place. I love that Air Temple Arts prides itself on the health, safety, and empowerment of it’s athletes. The instructors at Air Temple go that extra step to make sure the skills are safe for you and you have the foundational strength and control to perform the “tricks”. They also spend a lot of time on conditioning and prehab exercises for all members (which I love!).

I have seen the lives of so many active adults change taking classes at Air Temple Arts. People who thought they could never get back in shape or be able to perform again like they did in their high school days. I would highly recommend Air Temple Arts to any adult who is looking to join a supportive community who will challenge you and make you feel confident in your own skin again!

My husband and I recently located from Louisville, KY, where we trained at a studio that offered both a warm community vibe and high-quality instruction through a rigorous curriculum that extended from introductory through advanced levels(with attention to safety, understanding and applying sound technique, and artistry). Needless to say, it was very difficult to leave that behind!

Air Temple Arts has proven to be a great fit for us. They take a rigorous-yet-adaptive approach to an extensive curriculum, and the vibe is welcoming and warm. Their attention to the details of safe rigging and safety on the ground and in the air is excellent.

The facility offers a good many adjustable points suspended from 20' ceilings, which in turn provides flexibility to train on many different apparatus as close to or far from the ground as you like. (There's also a comfy kitchen area where you can brew yourself some coffee or tea, heat up your lunch, and relax with your fellow circus peeps.)

If you're looking for a place to begin or continue serious training in the aerial arts within Connecticut, ATA is a very solid option.

When I moved to first Connecticut I searched for weeks for a studio. Thank goodness for Air Temple Arts. Clean, professional, with a true passion for safe teaching. You won’t just learn awesome tricks or have a great workout or build your self esteem (all of that is also true), but what I find most impressive is the emphasis on developing a foundation/understanding the craft. For kids to adults of nearly all ages - would highly recommend!!

I’ve been doing aerials for 17 years and Air Temple Arts is awesome and by far the best circus school around. They have a great studio space with high ceilings and offer tons of different circus apparatus classes. Their instructors are top notch and they constantly have great workshops to offer. I was lucky enough to find this place where I could train and perform in shows as well as make a ton of lifelong friends in the process. Air Temple Arts made my time Connecticut the best and I will miss them dearly.

Challenging, intense and so much fun. If you love changing up your workout like I do you'll love this studio! One of the best workouts ever and didn't have to pick up one weight or get on a treadmill...plus you learn to fly!
