We have recently joined Sylvan. The staff are all very nice and welcoming. Our son has been attending three nights a week for about a month now. He absolutely loves going! There is never a day he does not want to go. From what we have seen so far we are very pleased with the his progress. We look forward to seeing his progression in the months to come! The Sylvan Learning Center has been very helpful for our family. We are still relatively new on our tutoring journey, but so far everything has gone smoothly and our boys enjoy going for their lessons. I have already recommended to friends who have thought about tutoring for their kids.

This helped our grand daughter get a jump start on kindergarten. She was struggling with speech and we wanted to ensure she wouldn't also be struggling in other areas when school started.

The teacher here are amazing. She loved coming to learn with them.

This isn’t our first experience with Sylvan. We use to drive our two sons to Woodbury back when there was not a Hudson location. They helped tremendously with their reading skills.

I highly recommend if your child is even struggling with homework or preparing for college tests.

I know not everyone can afford the program, but I hope there are special programs to assist.
Also can unused hours be donated to children in need?

Sylvan has been a great resource for our 7th grader that needs help staying caught up with his Virtual Schooling. We use 1:1 sessions and often follow those up with small group so he stays on a roll.

Sylvan has been amazing for our 4th grade boy! The motivational token system works wonders, he is excited to go every time! We appreciate the individual one-on-one or small group work knowing that he is getting the specific help he needs. The session update sheets give us the opportunity to know how he is doing and allows us to talk to him about his session. Sylvan offers many options to finance the tuition and they were great about explaining and working through each option! My husband and I do not regret enrolling our son in Sylvan tutoring, we know it’s worth investing in his future and his success in school!

My son was struggling. It was breaking our hearts. After Co*id, we didn’t bounce back. It’s so unfair for a child to be behind and left to struggle.
We weren’t sure how this would go, as it’s a lot of extra work. But we just went for it! The assessment was concerning and the commitment and extra cost can be bit scary in todays economy but…
My child LOVES their program. The teachers are incredible and clearly make this enjoyable and fun. I am literally shocked he likes it! Worth every penny and extra minute if this is the solution to make a better life for my child.

As our daughter is wrapping up 2 grade, and nearly a full school year with Sylvan Hudson, I wanted to come review this great learning center. We received an email from our daughters teacher this evening with exciting news of her progress, which we’ve been watching closely along with her progress at Sylvan. She ended 1st grade with below average scores in math that followed her to 2nd grade in a new school. With her amazing teacher, some one-on-one math focused time with a volunteer at her school and her twice weekly hours at Sylvan, our daughter is tracking to finish the school year very strong, at grade level, and with a fresh new outlook on how she feels about math. We are so thankful for all her extra support, but want to give a shout-out to all her Sylvan coaches and the Education Director for bringing her up to speed and more! We will always look to Sylvan Hudson when needing extra support for either of your kids educations!
