My son, Henry, has been attending The Tutoring Center for just over a year, and he works with Leah, who is absolutely fantastic!

Henry has Down syndrome, and we are trying to help him keep pace with his typical peers at school. Leah has truly made a significant impact on Henry's progress, and her dedication is evident in every session. It also helps that Leah has a background in teaching including special education!! The personalized approach she takes ensures that Henry's unique needs are met, helping him thrive academically. Leah and her staff create engaging activities and frequently rotate topics during the duration of the session to make learning fun and interactive, which is crucial for maintaining Henry's interest and enthusiasm. The Tutoring Center’s reward system is thoughtfully designed to celebrate small victories, boosting his confidence, and reinforcing positive behaviors.

I genuinely appreciate the open communication Leah maintains with us. She regularly updates us on Henry's progress and provides valuable insights and strategies that we can implement at home. This collaborative effort has made a world of difference in Henry's educational journey.

We have recently started bringing my 6 year old here. His school made him skip k5 when he needed it. In the short amount of time he has been going I can already see a difference! He prefers going to tutoring over school! Looks forwards to his two days every week!

This is a long review because it’s a commitment worth doing for your child.

My child enjoys going to tutoring twice a week- she doesn’t complain which is a big win. An even bigger win is the progress she has made in two school years. She started kindergarten in a Spanish immersion (90%) program. We moved and enrolled her in first grade in the standard 1st grade English program which put her severely behind in reading. She knew the Spanish alphabet and pronunciation, so it was very difficult for her to switch to English. We signed her up with the Greenville Tutoring Center in Oct of 2nd grade when her grades were not improving.

Through their diagnostic assessment, we learned that she was still testing in first grade skills instead of second grade skills and she has made big strides finishing 3rd grade at the 3rd grade level. We will continue in the summer, which has been super important for her success. Very grateful for Leah and the team!
