Fabulous way to spend an hour or two. They put on events, have wonderful changing exhibits and amazing strong archive of local historical matters that give visitors a comprehensive history of Glastonbury, including fun facts. Lovely staff/volunteers too. Thank you

Very cute and quaint collection of Glastonbury history. I especially enjoyed the portion about about "cat". The staff was very friendly and informative. Very neat!

This is such a great place to visit while you are in town. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and there is so much history to learn about Glastonbury. Fun facts, interesting tidbits and artifacts to see. They will even appraise items for you on certain days. I love learning the history of the town and really enjoy all the visits and special programs they offer - their website has everything you need to know about upcoming events too!

I'm biased as a docent and regular volunteer, but its still a great place to visit! Check out the events held by the historical society, see the museum (yes, air-conditioned in summer), and connect with historic and important places around the town.

A great place to visit if you enjoy history. I spent some time as a junior docent for the society a few years back, and there’s plenty to learn about the town and it’s history, even for a town this old.
