Honestly I thought this would be great for my son, but it was just a $250 rip off. My son has a 4.3 GPA but needed help with his SAT. I signed him up at the student connection in Macomb hoping that he will get something out of the 2 day workshop that promised a higher SAT score. That did not happen the overall outcome was a lower SAT score. Their SAT workshop was a disappointment. Not organized, instructors were late, the one day math instructor didn’t show up, had someone else fill in for that day. My son scored less from his High school SAT score. There was NO “one on one” as they promised during the workshop. When I tried to get him in to take a practice SAT test. They did not return my emails or phone calls. When I called the manger Brigid in the Bloomfield Hills Center, she was annoyed by my calls and e-mails, even had the nerve to say on the phone Oh my God! when she heard my voice. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I would never deal with this company again. Not in Macomb, Not in Bloomfield Hills, Not in Burmingham, even if they offered the services for free. I am very unhappy. I definitely would not send any student to the student connection. The student connection voice greetings says” They are busy creating capable learners” What a joke, They are only busy with trying to rip you off and bad customer service.

The student connection is a center for excellence when it comes to all tutoring needs - help for academic courses, test prep, individualized learning approaches, remote or online learning. Always professional, easy to reach & schedule, understanding and kind. Brigid is incredible when it comes to pairing children with a compatible tutor and creating a plan to help your child succeed.

I've been going here for many years, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. This place has people who've gone to prestigious universities and really do care about the kids. Michael Godvin, Kathleen Gillespie and Liam Hannigan were especially helpful in getting me on the right track. Without them, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today.

I would not have made it through high school without The Student Connection. They worked with me and my school for over three years. The directors and tutors really care about their students doing well. I highly recommend TSC.

I paid $400 and i didn't learn a thing because they don't teach you good. They only teach you maybe 5 mins per subject. Do NOT go here and waste your money. Just watch youtube and you will learn more. I will not recommend this.
