I am so glad we found Tami! I had used 2 other tutors in the recent past for my elementary age son, an individual, and the other a well known tutoring service. Both experiences were horrible and after months of tutoring two times per week we did not see any progress. After a few weeks with Tami, my son and I could see measurable progress. He actually enjoys attending! I really like the way she has been able to recognize his deficits in academics but also with his confidence, and teaches accordingly. I feel she really tailors the sessions specifically to him, which other tutors have not. I also like that she is willing to communicate with his teacher and others, and advocates for him for a wraparound approach to getting him caught up.
