If I could give less than one star I would. I transferred to this school after my old school was shut down. So I got a bundle that came with 1 lesson and a road test since I already had 10+ hours on the road at the old school. I was misinformed during my lesson that when taking the test with the next street they won’t test you on backing into a parking space on the left side of a parking lot, because it’s considered a dangerous maneuver and the dmv and next street instructors talked about how they don’t do it on the test. So I was only taught how to back in on the right side of a parking space as there was no reason to practice the left. Today I had my road test and what do ya know the instructor made me back in on the left and I failed. It is a driving School’s job to teach students the proper way to drive and to not misinform them about the ways of the road or their road test. They said I cannot get any compensation for their mistake and basically just took my money. What a scumbag school.

Jane Gillis was a great instructor. She thoroughly went through all the information I needed to pass my driving test and I would highly recommend The Next Street over any other driving school in Glastonbury. Accompanied by the rest of the company, Jane aided my driving experience and helped calm my nerves. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

I had such a great experience with the next street. My driving instructor John B was amazing. Very informative lessons and I felt very comfortable driving and now I feel even more confident. Great driving school and kind people:)

Jane is a really fun driving teacher! She keeps the class lively. I only fell asleep during the videos never when she talked. She has many stories and is really informative. Sad that I don’t have any driving lessons scheduled with her. I would recommend going to driving school here during the summer because I got my 30 hours done in 2 weeks and am waiting for driving lessons in September. I think I’ll also test here because they do all the paperwork for you.

Jasmin was also a good driving teacher (even though she only taught two lessons).

Jake is an amazing instructor! I was really nervous about my first Behind-the-Wheel driving lesson, but he made me feel relaxed and confident about my skills! The only problem I had with the school was that it wasn't easy to find, even after putting its address in the GPS.

Couldn't have asked for a better driving instructors then Nikko! I took a practice test with him and made me feel super comfortable with all the maneuvers and made me confident in taking the driving exam. He also gave me some great tips ill be sure to use!

Amanda is a great instructor! I've learned more driving than I ever could and she became a friend! In classroom with Jose he is the best! He's understanding and just adds fun to the drivers ed experience!

Edit: Based on the reply from the owner - I want to capture the quoted rate. Minimum, 2 hours behind the wheel for $170 and there is no flexibility of breaking the 2 hours into 2 classes.
I understand the Premium rates for Glastonbury, but the lack of flexibility and 2 hours minimum are major negatives for us.

If you drive across the river for 10 minutes, there are Schools who offer 1 hour classes for less than $60.
