After we finished the 4 week childbirth education course, my husband and I were reflecting that we wish everyone in the world had the chance to take it before becoming parents! We felt so well prepared for the birthing experience and all its contingencies. Ashley brings an amazing energy to the space every week and has a massive amount of experience. Five (5) stars isn’t enough and doesn’t equate to the level of quality, care, education, value and professionalism by Ashley and her team! What a truly amazing experience!

This has exceeded our expectations and i highly recommend all services and resources available at Empowered Beginnings. The hands on learning and just the ability to be present in a space with other first time parents, was such an enjoyable experience!

Ashley + Samantha provided insight, personality and a realistic perspective on what the child birthing process is (both pre + post natal). It was a great atmosphere over the past four (4) weeks and you will leave far more prepared and confident for one of the greatest moments in your life.

I feel SO much more informed, safe, and confident about giving birth after taking this class. I went in feeling like I had a good bit of knowledge and loved how much Ashley and her team elaborated, shared research, and opened the floor for honest and vulnerable conversation. Ashley was an amazing instructor and extremely knowledgable about different types/desires for the birthing experience. I appreciate that different approaches were considered (I.e. medicated and induced births) as all my not always go to plan. I also personally enjoyed the inclusion of partners in the course. There were slides that were tailored to partners in how they can support the birthing individual and also prepare themselves. Overall, money well spent!

I am so happy and grateful for our experience with Empowered Beginnings for class support and especially our pregnancy and labor doula, Cheri. I felt really heard, empowered, safe and advocated alongside the entire process - from my first call with Ashley to the whole labor process with Cheri. Cheri was truly a part of our village and was a guiding support during a high risk pregnancy and long, labor process and eventual arrival of our healthy, happy baby. Cheri’s approach was warm, supportive, educational and kind. I truly recommend this team!

My wife and I took the 4-week Birthing Class. I can't imagine going through the process without taking this class - so helpful!!! Ashley is an incredibly knowledgable and experienced educator, and she makes the classes fun. We felt super comfortable asking all kinds of questions, and we are feeling way more prepared and comfortable about the arrival of our first child. Highly recommend!

My husband and I took the four week childbirth class with Ashley. Ashley was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Her fun personality and extensive experience helped us feel empowered with our choices surrounding our child's birth and ready for anything that came our way. We not only learned the basics around childbirth, but lots of specifics about possible interventions, postpartum, and what our options are as parents. Highly recommend this class! Ashley is phenomenal.

We also took the breastfeeding course. Sam was our instructor for this class and helped prep us with lots of info before we entered into the nursing era of our lives. We're so grateful for the tips we learned from her; they have helped us already so much in our first week as parents.
