Spire is an amazing partner to the community and a gem for our 10-year old son.

With help from professional coaches, I've seen my son and several of his travel soccer teammates materially improve both technical and strategic skills. The club program is still developing, but they are already adding great value.

In addition, Spire head of soccer Sean Lane volunteers with the local recreational soccer board and has been an amazing partner. Spire invests in our soccer culture with training for our parent volunteer coaches, hosts soccer educational activities at local events like Latino Fest and has partnered to raise the level of soccer across the community vs competing with it.

We are lucky to have such a committed group as a part of our community.

The sport facility is awesome. However, when you are trapped there for 12+ hours and they don't let you bring in your own food, this is where you get mad. The food they sell is extremely expensive and very subpar, almost inedible. Everything was burnt, hard or soggy. Not a lot of healthy fuel choices for young athletes. If you are going to prevent families from bringing in their own food, then you should provide decent food for your guests. Do better Spire!

We’ve attended two high school indoor track meets this winter and are very disappointed that a state of the art facility could be so dirty and uncared for. The bleachers where students and spectators sit were covered with food and gnats/bugs. There wasn’t a seating area in the entire facility that was appropriately cleaned. The women’s restroom drains were backing up spreading water throughout the restroom. The soap dispensers were broken and the backups were filled with what seemed to be water. The parking lots are not properly plowed, managed or monitored. Parking is random and because it’s not monitored, handicap spots are misused, driving lanes are taken over by parked cars and it’s very dangerous for pedestrians. The location/parking lot to drop students is not lit up at night and parking spots are not marked. There is not enough space at the doors to drop a student off and other cars to safely pass.
We were also disappointed that no events were called or timed. Other teams were practicing lane changing while the JV team was competing in a 1600m run.
We pay a premium to participate in this club sport. Poor management of the facility is very disappointing.

The only thing Spire has in’spire’d me to do, is to not come back. A volleyball tournament was held on 3/21. It stated no outside food or drink. Coming to these tournaments is ridiculously expensive for some families and that is a way they can ensure their child can play on a budget. I suggest you relook at your regulations to support all families.

The complex is amazing. I give it a 2 star because at the state wrestling championships, my godson injured his knee during a match and the only medic on site had his son in the tournament and took 25 minutes to respond. Every place we looked we couldn’t find an ice pack either. With an event this big Aspire needs to hire an independent medic that doesn’t have any involvement at the tournament.

Beautiful venue, none like it. Terrible food services, 45 minutes or more wait at concession stand and they won’t let you order food in from outside. Basically can’t eat all day. Plumbing was all backed up we were down to 1 men’s room for several hundred wrestlers

We originally posted back in January about the issues at this facility. We did receve a message apologizing and saying they would corect the issues. We have been back twice since and not much has changed. In fact it has gotten worse. We were there on the 14th of February. The parking lot was still a mess an very icey. There was still no announcing of events which made it nearly impossible to not miss an event. They also did not post the event list anywhere (as they said they would) and the the staff at the facility directed us to a QR code to scan at the facility. The QR code that was at the facility directed us to a list of events for the next day (15th) not for the day we were there. Even worse, during the long distance running event the lap keeper could not keep up with who was were. With some of the fast kids lapping the other kids, he directed the fast kids to keep running when they were done and thought the slower kids were done when they had a lap to go. It ended being two thirds of the racers didn't do the race correctly. Honestly, the track is probably too small for long distances running or they need a better way to do it. It truly is a beautiful facility, but completely mismanaged, which is unfortunate. This is, by far, the worst track and field event I have ever been too and it isn't even close.

I had heard such big things about SPIRE, but was pretty disappointed when I got here. The review is mainly for the aquatic center, but extends to the grounds as well.

First, the exterior for something that cost as much as this is rumored to cost is pretty blah to look at. We were here for a swim meet and had to park in a huge dusty rock gravel parking lot. Further down the lot, part of the building is boarded up with weeds growing out of it, and dry rot...looks unfinished. The whole place looks like a ‘what could have been’ story.

The entrance to the pool for something that is supposed to be a premier location for athletic events is so plain, if it didn’t have stickers on the windows, I would miss it. The interior was very nice, which is the saving grace of the whole facility. But then you get frustrated again once inside because the construction causes the COMPLETE loss of cell signal, and their Free WiFi is woefully incapable of handling the bandwidth required for even the smallest crowd. Tough to use swimming’s online meet reporting tool with no signal, and this is across all swim events sponsored by USA Swimming. It doesn’t surprise you that the place is struggling when taking all these factors into account....

Add into that the bad business sense....they had a pretty substantial crowd here, and they have a full cafeteria right where everyone comes in that wasn’t open ...that could have been thousands of dollars of revenue.

It’s not the hundred dollar bills, it’s the nickels and dimes wasted that doom projects like this.....
