Surprised to see no reviews on the cottages owned by the motel owner. So here we go.

The good: the location on lake geneva is amazing, looking out from the sun room is such a beautiful sight in the morning. What amenities there are aren't too bad and very rustic and quaint.

The bad(and this is very bad): A lot of the outlets aren't updated for ground; despite the numerous windows, the cottages is very stuff, dry, and extremely warm; due to the sun room not being fully sealed in(the bottoms of the walls have gaps between it and the floor and doorframe to the back door has a hole when you open the door); the water heater is outdated and clanks if you turn hot water up to high anywhere in the cottage; due to the holes there's also a massive bug problem and have killed a number of wasps and spiders and a whole hoard of mosquitoes; the wifi is essentially non-existent due to the router being in the owners house and the cottages has no extender or anything plus all the cottages run off that one router, forcing me to run up my hotspot data; the laundry is communal in a shed that you must pay for.

The owner has told us that he's doing his best, but paying 2-3k for a week stay, I'm surprised no one has called it all out publicly. It's no wonder the online site barely talks about the cottages and focuses solely on the motel.

If you plan to stay at these cottages, make sure to call and ask details on them first and get pictures.

We have been renting weekly Summer vacations here since the early 1980's. We always come back because it is beautiful, historic, and we are treated like family. Great access to both Lake and Strip activities. I personally love that while the Strip may change over time, Allen Court Cottages stays the same.

I stayed here about a month ago with my boyfriend, and we LOVED it! We were super late getting to the hotel (I told them we would be there by 3, but with traffic and other stuff, we didn't arrive until after 7) and the office was closed. We called the number on the office door, and Chuck (I think he is the owner) came out to give us our keys and everything despite how late we were. He was VERY nice to us too! The tv was small, but that's not what we were there for anyways. The bed was super comfy and it was hands down the CLEANEST motel that I have ever stayed in. Everything was spotless from corner to corner. At night, we could hear the waves crashing onto the little beach. It was perfect. It's also right on the strip! You can walk to all of the bars, and there's even a really nice bar right across the street with really nice service. We will definitely be back!

I would recommend this place all day long, the owner chuck has been so great to me and my family i wouldn't go any where else to stay all these cottages are well maintenance and has all working appliances the grounds are very well kept. If you would have amy problems which i highly doubt chuck will take care if it no problem. Has laundry mat to wash clothes and dryer lake view is beautiful its very open, there's a beach so you can swim ! I can go own about this fun place! Thank you chuck for everything...

We were visiting on Memorial day and at the last minute, decided to get a room. We've never stayed here before but they were right on the lake so we thought, why not. Can't say we were disappointed. For $120 we got a clean room with a great shower, mini fridge and a teenie weenie tv. Many of the older places up here are dated but this place was dated and well kept. Satellite tv, the air conditioning worked well, good water pressure, and the bed was pretty comfy too. I'd bring extra pillows with me if we planned to stay again. Overall, very satisfied. They even have a stairway to the beach.

Now these kind of motel I usually stay away from however this place is the exception. We asked if we could see our room before we booked it. Allen (the owner) said sure. He showed us a room and I checked out the beds and bathroom thoroughly. VERY clean and cute. We stayed the night and it was very peaceful, no noise from the street or other people. We were able to sleep with the windows open and not have to use the a/c. That was a PLUS for sure. I will be going back. Love Geneva on the Lake. It is a trip back in time!!!

Nice place to stay.... easy walking to everything. Chuck is a GREAT guy. Locked myself out of my room not only once but twice no problem. He even carried one of his own chairs down near the water so I could sit.

We went to Geneva for memorial day and got a room the night before and it was perfect! Cheap nice and clean room,awesome water pressure from the shower very nice owner awesome view of lake Erie right when you open the door, beautiful sunset and a perfect location right where all the fun is!!! I would recommend this to everyone and I'm one of those people that are scared to stay in motels for obvious reasons but this was super perfects no complaints
