Great place to learn more Alaska history local to the Cook Inlet side of Kenai Peninsula. Open air museum in a beautiful forest setting. There is information about each exhibit. Make sure to get directions for the Lee Homestead, Post Office building at its nearby location.

The ladies who give the tours are so engaging, fun to listen to and full of great knowledge. We had so much fun. The grounds and historical cabins are well kept and fun to tour. They have great activities for kids to. Like a scavenger hunt and worksheet about the tour.

Free museum to see what life was like in Soldotna 75+ years ago. Everything can be seen in about an hour including chatting with volunteers to get more information.

The museum may look small, but the content the guides present are boundless. The guides are extremely passionate, and there was so much to learn about the history, the people, and the land. It was obvious that this place, among others, keeps the richness of Soldotna and Alaska alive
