With the experience I have this establishment IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ADULTS OR CHILDREN!!!

I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START!!!!!

• The Site Director will harasses staff based off knowledge, They want “BABY SITTERS, People that’s going to fall in line, NOT EDUCATORS, It’s like HIGH SCHOOL in there !!!!

• the Site Director will also unlawfully harass you and will make up reasons for writing you up and suspend/terminate you without correct documentation. She picks and chooses when it comes to following protocol when it comes to their handbook

• Always under staff due to lack of help/support from management.

•No cut off for drop off, No consistency overall, Teachers and children ARE MOVED EVERYDAY FOR RATIO PURPOSES! Due to this children’s belonging are always lost or mixed up with another child’s, germs spread faster this way, No Daily routine just surviving which is stressful to the kids & staff.

• Children don’t get sent home when sick (they let parents come in and give kids Tylenol)

• The lead infant teacher Didn’t Offer A toddler milk for 2 months I reported to management nothing was done, they didn’t even notify the parents. She don’t sanitize toys throughout the day so babies are constantly passing around germs.

• Site manager & Management Sweeps EVERYTHING under the rug & you can’t do that when working with OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN!!!!

• Management & certain staff members treats Title 20 parents & children different from Private pay parents!!!

• They have roaches

• Teachers Mix business & pleasure which causes conflict in the work place

• Teachers constantly on phones

• The owner doesn’t care, tried to reach out to her many times to discuss these matters above and nothing was done….

• I have Documentation & proof of EVERYTHING !!!!!!!

• When they know licensing coming they’ll try to clean up their act & when licensing instructor asked for staff members they will get the staff member who will lie and cover for the company not someone like me who will tell the truth

I do feel like I will be harassed as I was in the workplace for making this review but this is my truth working behind kiddie academy!

No security at all, my 3 year old son was able to get out of their building and classrooms, they told me that they can't have him there no more because he's a safety risk basically kicking him out, also fired a wonderful teacher that took her time with my son, my son disliked going after she was gone, an all because they don't have security, someone that can monitor the doors or better locks. They totally failed her. I also want to mention that my son is a handful but that doesn't excuse the fact that a 3 year old was able to get through 3 doors and make it outside with no adult supervision

My one year old has been communicating by using sign language before he could say some words so I could understand him! The teachers really sit down with him and play with puzzles, teach him words, numbers, animals, do coloring and painting. So many things. They don’t just babysit him they really teach him. I’m always amazed how much he knows at such a young age. He’s been signing more, thank you, and communicates when he’s hungry since right after one year old! I’m so grateful for Kiddie Academy Downtown. Especially his teachers Ms. Allison, Ms. Tamia and Ms. Tonya!! Thank you all for everything you do. I know when I leave my son with them that he’s going to be good, have fun and learn something!!

(+) We never felt like our child was unsafe. Our main teacher for our daughter was fantastic and very caring. The supporting staff and leadership was always very nice and willing to address our concerns. The facility is very clean.

(-) We started in August 2023, after the first 2 months we were noticing a lot of turn over in staff. Throughout our time here, our daughter would come home in the wrong diapers, she was in and out of different classrooms daily (we never knew what room to drop her off), and the updates on the app would be inconsistent (we were unsure of her meals and nap times). Occasionally when we would pick up our daughter, she was sobbing while the support teacher was just sitting in a chair. Additionally, there seemed to be no structure around the curriculum, just open play -- and kids are not provided outdoor time here. It became a habit where I was talking to the Director at least once a week around concerns. In November 2023, we were seeing some additional changes that we thought needed parental consent first, so we decided to withdraw and find a new program with more structure, consistency, and focused curriculum around encouraging developmental milestones.

Kiddie Academy of Downtown Columbus is easily the most impressive childcare facility I have ever experienced. They welcomed my daughter with open arms after moving from Oklahoma and made her feel comfortable immediately. They had a Director change and it was so seamless. The teachers are great, they really care about the children's' education, and overall treat the children with respect. I would recommend this location to anyone. The only reason we left was because we started kindergarten. 10/10 would recommend.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Kiddie Academy. The teaching staff and administrators are loving, attentive to safety and security, and instrumental to child growth and development. The facility is clean and equipped with many of the latest offerings for childcare providers. Our child has been excited to go to school each day and we’re confident in the care he receives!

Kiddie Academy is incredible. Our daughter is so joyful going in each morning. The teachers and staff truly love these kids so much. KA also cares so much about the families -- from providing meals, supporting with potty training, and more. Each day is full of fun activities (art, music, reading, movement) that support our daughter's natural development. We are so grateful for KA!

My family and I had a great experience with KA of DT Columbus while they were caring for our 4 month old for several months. The director, Ms. Allison and his infant teachers Ms. Kaitlyn, Ms. Allison, & Ms. Naiya made us feel so welcome and loved our son, we always felt like he was in the best hands every time we dropped him off.

The facility is clean and secure, his teachers and support staff were very responsive to any questions, and the center had fun seasonal activities for the whole family.

We are so sad that we moved and had to change to a different daycare option- any family that has a chance to take their children there would be lucky! We miss you all!
