I cannot recommend The Art of Skin Esthetics Academy enough! Art of Skin goes far beyond the typical curriculum, offering an education that you won’t find at most other schools. The instructors here are not only incredibly knowledgeable and active professionals serving their own clients, but also truly care about each student’s success and growth. Their genuine investment in our education and well-being made them my mentors and friends. Beyond graduation, we were offered as many state board prep 1:1 practice sessions as we thought we needed—and Gabi waiting at school to celebrate with us when we passed! I was so well-prepared coming out of school that the standard 2+ weeks of training at my job was cut back to just a couple of days before I began taking clients. If you’re looking for a place that provides expert training in esthetics and a nurturing, supportive environment, Art of Skin is where you need to be!

I connected with Ms. Gabi through my sister in 2023, who was one of her students at a previous esthetics school. As I explored new career paths, I reached out to Ms. Gabi and was impressed by her genuine helpfulness. She gave me a tour of The Art of Skin Esthetics Academy and we had great conversations. To further explore my interest in esthetics, I asked if I could receive a facial. That experience solidified my decision to pursue a career in skincare and wellness.

I enrolled as a full-time student in the 20-week program (April-September). The school offers a part-time evening program that lasts a year. I appreciated the curriculum's balance of theory and hands-on clinical training. Throughout the program, I gained knowledge and skills in various areas, including: relaxation and facial massage, business 101 and social media, facials, product knowledge, hair removal, disinfection, lash extensions, lash lift and tint, dermaplane, chemical peels, spray tanning, makeup, and modalities.

We worked with several product lines and received our own kits to take home. The instructors were caring, understanding, and inclusive, creating a fun and engaging classroom environment. The school was clean, organized, and provided a strong foundation for my career.

After completing the program, I felt well-prepared to pass the state board exam, which I did in October, becoming a licensed esthetician. I highly recommend this school to anyone starting their esthetics journey. The support and knowledge gained here will benefit you throughout your career.

I recently made in impromptu visit to this school while I was in Grove City to inquire about getting my Master license for an additional 150 hours and wanted some information on it. Last year I did a tour with The Spa School as well as Mason Anthony and I ultimately chose MA. The Art of Skin in Grove City really seems to have it together. You could tell that the teacher Ms. Gabriela truly cares about her students. I had a moment to chat with the current students and they shared positive feedback about their experience. If you are searching for schools, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out. If I could do the program over, I would have chosen this school from the start in a heartbeat. They opened after I started so I never got to tour when I was choosing schools in the beginning. They are also over 2k cheaper than what I paid for my tuition. 5 stars based on my observation and interactions. Good vibes the moment you walk in the door!

I recently went to The Art of Skin Esthetics Academy to get a facial for my birthday. I booked with Jordan Miller to get this service. It was absolutely amazing! Hands down a great experience to treat yourself and relax! Not to mention having a confidence boost walking out of the appointment! My skin was glowing and very hydrated afterwards! Jordan was an amazing esthetician! She was very personable and bubbly which made it easy to feel comfortable. She guided me through each step and explained how that would benefit my skin. It was easy to switch from having good conversation to sitting in a relaxing silence. My favorite part was the cooling globes at the end, it felt phenomenal. Overall, it was a great experience both the esthetician and the service provided. I would 100% go back to get the service again and also look into other services offered!

I had the pleasure of visiting during the open house and WOW! The space is gorgeous, the equipment is very high quality and the owner/instructor Ms. Gabi is very knowledgeable and professional. If you’re interested in Esthetics, this is definitely the best school in the Columbus area to go to!
