I’m over joyed at the quality of care I received from Daily Dental. Not only did I have an amazing cleaning, but my hygienist Katie was the absolute sweetest. She made me feel comfortable, reassured and encouraged me to floss more! I of course was given a thorough exam by Dr Naftali who answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to prepare for my next marathon. Everyone here cares about the quality of dentistry and consider you to be a friend, not just a patient. I highly recommend you give them a call.

Amazing. Loved the whole team. They treated me with care and the cleaning was gentle. 1st time in a decade that a dental office didn't try to tell me I needed an expensive unnecessary procedure. Very lovely staff!! They worked very well with my work and school schedule. They made me feel comfortable and made sure if everything is going well with my smile and made sure if I had any concerns. They helped me correct my smile which was a big insecurity for me highly appreciated!! The dental hygienist were very friendly and they educate well on how to keep your teeth healthy and clean. The front desk are very friendly and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend anyone to them!!

Tooth cracked, asked if they could get me in to fix it today, they said yes, prompting me to call off of work. They assessed the damage, worked on a totally separate tooth, and sent me up to the front desk to schedule two more appointments before I could get the tooth I actually needed worked on. Leaving this appointment, wildly upset, with no reasons on why my affected tooth was not handled.

This place is great! All of the staff is friendly and they treat you like you are family or friends. They are very careful to make sure they are not hurting you and that you are comfortable. They are probably great for people who are scared of dentists.

I have always had positive experiences here and have previously posted a positive review. The review below is associated with a specific individual and the only type of interaction I’ve had in more than five years of being a patient here. I plan to continue to receive my dental services here and have had no other significant issues of this nature with any other staff members.

My primary reason for posting this review is to highlight the need for additional training and to prevent any future errors in patient identification and associated dental services.

As a provider in healthcare, I recognize the upmost importance of adhering to HIPAA compliance, such as protecting PHI and following guidelines with disclosure of patient information.

That being said, it seems unauthorized disclosure of PHI in a public place might need to be addressed. My daughter was waiting to be called back to the treatment area. The hygienist approached the waiting area and was difficult for me to hear. Most of the chairs were filled with people of different ages. From the dialogue, I heard, it seemed a child who appeared to be approximately five years of age, was mistaken for my 14-year-old daughter. I heard this young child being asked some questions.

A little while later, the hygienist spoke with the front office staff. I noticed the identification of my daughter was pointed out to the hygienist, and then my daughter went back with this same hygienist. (I’m not sure how long the younger child spoke with the hygienist prior to this.) A few minutes later, my daughter entered the lobby and told me I was needed to go back to the operatory.

I was asked about her having fluoride, which is indicated on her chart not to use, because it makes her sick. I had to make an additional clarification about this.

Following the appointment, my daughter told me she had to state multiple times how her mother was sitting in the lobby, and not in a different area getting her teeth cleaned. She also told me the hygienist made reference to her sibling(s). (My daughter is an only child.)

My daughter communicated gratefulness that another hygienist cleaned her teeth today. She noted the hygienist who took her back to the operatory communicated to the dentist how she was not to have fluoride. My daughter said she knew the dentist reviewed her chart and had responded how the information about not having fluoride was documented there. It just seemed like something that was unnecessary to communicate, since it was previously documented and was always observed to be reviewed by every dentist for each appointment.

A review of policies and procedures associated with PHI and verifying patient identification and information may be beneficial for this hygienist. It is my understanding each chart is associated with a photo of each patient and specific demographic information that can be used for the identification and location of patients.

When used, this demographic information could help to determine with high likelihood the correct patient. Reviewing this information prior to locating the next patient might help avoid confusion with patient identification. Rather than ask a young child multiple questions, it may be easier to ask a child their name and separately ask their age, to avoid confusion with any of the responses.

FIVE STARS! I had a dental “urgency” today and the team got me right in this afternoon! What a powerfully run location! The staff is absolutely inviting, helpful and kind!
