I have received physical therapy from Charles on two occasions for three months last fall 2033 and spring 2024 for spinal stenosis. He decreased my pain significantly both times. He gave me a lot of guidance on how to control and prevent my pain with regular stretches and core strengthening exercises. I feel more in control of my condition. Also Charles provides some treatments called facial release which helped a lot. He even taught me how to preform some of that technique on my self. He has been amazing

I highly recommend Starr Spine for PT. It was a healing experience for me from my very first visit. Coming into my first appointment, I was suffering from chronic back pain unable to even sit comfortably. I left pain free that day! It was a night and day experience. Charles Starr is terrific at helping you correct your body position and realign muscle strengths across various joints. He has kept me out of surgery at least once, and continues to help my keep my almost 80 year old body functioning very well.

I can't speak highly enough of this practice! I came in with fairly debilitating shoulder injury, so bad that I couldn't lift my arm above my head without wincing pain. Charles took the time to target from where the pain was originating and used a series of techniques and treatment to alleviate it. He explains what he's doing and why so that you have the knowledge to keep yourself pain-free. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes his time to make sure you are well taken care of. His friendly demeanor and warm bedside manner makes each visit a nice experience.

Great knowledge in his practice. Charles has great people skills and is really easy to talk to. I was his first workers comp client and he did all the leg work with the insurance companies. Extremely flexible schedule and always able to schedule of something where to come up. Great conversationalist and made it feel like I wasn’t in a therapy office. I highly recommend Starr Spine Physical Therapy and Wellness and if the service is ever needed again, he’ll be my go-to “hands” down.

I initially went to Charles due to my hip pain. I had myofascial release in the past and thought that would be my best option for my pain. I had stiffness, muscle restrictions in much of my lower body which was making it difficult for me to do many of the activities I enjoyed. My most impressed moments related to the difficulty and pain I had getting out of my vehicle after a day of hiking as well as the knee pain I always had going downhill. After Charles worked on my hips and kneecaps, my pain is gone! It is awesome to enjoy my favorite activity without all the pain!
Charles works from a holistic perspective which makes the work he does so much more effective as our body parts don't work in isolation. What affects one area, affects another.
