I first met Amahni professionally in June of 2023 at an awards ceremony where she presented her annual scholarship, dedicated to giving students second chances. From there, we became friends and have been ever since. From the beginning, it was evident to me that Amahni’s true passion is grounded in providing a safe space for her students to grow academically and as individuals. The care and attentiveness she provides to her students goes above and beyond what you’d find in any typical classroom or after school program. I truly admire her ability to meet students where they are and help them build on their learning process, regardless of any obstacles they have faced. Her preparedness, patience, and kind-hearted nature makes her the BEST educator I’ve ever encountered and I am proud to have such a caring and honest person as my friend.

Ms. Amahni is very nice. She helps my daughter with math, writing, and her book reports. One of my daughter’s favorite things that she and Ms. Amahni have done together was go to Little Tokyo and get Somi Somi, boba, and spam musubi. I appreciate that Ms. Amahni comes to my daughter’s birthday parties and also creates interactive learning games for her like math bingo and jeopardy. My daughter loves having Ms. Amahni as her tutor and says she “also has very very very nice fluffy hair.”

Ms Ahmani is very organized and communicative with her plan. She seeks to coordinate with the lessons being learned in class as extra reinforcement.
