No message was shared by the visiting missionary or the pastor. It was great to hear about the mission field, but was disappointed that a message from God's Word was not shared at a Sunday service.

My husband and I recently decided to have Christian Community Church our home church. We recently moved to Homer, AK and love it! We visited 3 different churches throughout the summer and decided on Christian Community Church. The pastors and congregation are very warm and welcoming. The women's Bible study, every Wednesday morning, is well attended and flexible. I was super impressed with the children's program. Fabulous!

CCC is a great local church in Homer. It has strong life groups (Fall to spring), a great children's program on Sundays, Sunday school for adults, wonderful music and worship and excellent bible teaching. Its the kind of church where they notice and greet new faces, emphasize verse by verse expository preaching, and support families and our town through various ministries. One of my favorite parts is the time in the service for members to share a verse or short testimony of encouragement or exhortation at the microphone. The love of Jesus and the work of the Spirit shine through.

The Lord led me to become a member of Christian Community Church in Homer 10 years ago. CCC is warm and inviting, where people can just come as they are. Our lead Pastor David Taylor and our other pastors share sermons based on Biblical Scripture, which are enlightening as well as encouraging. We have a great Worship team, Youth Group, and several Life Groups to join for Worship, Fellowship, Prayer, Bible Study and Discipleship. Our members include all ages and backgrounds. Whenever we gather, Jesus’ presence and love is there among us, not just as a congregation, but as a church family. We welcome visitors and new members. God is good, all the time ❤️?

CCC is a wonderful and welcoming place full of great people (adults and kids!). My husband and I started attending a few years ago when I was in a dark, weird place. Pastor David led me out of the wilderness and right into the arms of Christ’s love. If your searching, this could be your place. There’s a ton of love, fellowship, compassion and a great worship team.

CCC has been our home church since moving to Homer almost 5 years ago. We never church surfed, the people here immediately became our family. Sunday school classes are great for adults and kids, ladies bible study weekly and life groups to enjoy life together- CCCs a great community.

We have been part of CCC since 2000. We love how Pastor David preaches the Word in depth, book by book. CCC has a variety of people. Everyone is welcome. We love hosting the young adult singles small group. We are grateful for the opportunities we have had to participate in ministry with the body of Christ at CCC.

My family went to CCC occasionally from 2017 to 2022 and every time we visited, we always felt very welcomed. We’ve been attending regularly since Jan 2022 and really feel at home. CCC preaching is very Biblical and has a desire to reach people in community with Christ’s love.
