I had my first lesson via Apprentus. Thank you! I find the communication process a bit lengthy and sometimes not clear what the next step is, but luckily everything worked out.

I haven't even taken a lesson here yet, but the experience so far has been dire already. I booked a piano teacher and paid upfront for 5 lessons (that's how the website works) and within 24 hours I received the message that the teacher isn't available untill the 1st of October. The fact that he's unavailable doesn't bother me in the slightest, I completely understand (especially with corona going on). What bothers me is that you have to pay upfront and the only message I received from Apprentus was the question whether other teachers were allowed to contact me. Two things:

- It should explicitly state on the website that the teacher wasn't available until the 1st of October. This is necessary for the consumer to make an informed decision.
- There's zero mention of the money I had paid in the communication afterwards. If a situation such as this arises, it common sense to communicate what happens to the money already paid/held.

I tried calling the number as google shows, but I receive an automated voice message only, so it's worthless.

Still, I have no idea what they're doing with the money they've taken ransom.

EDIT:

They called me back and cleared up my questions. For now I've changed it to 3 stars as the communication on the website was still lacking. Might change it to more, depending on how it goes from here.
