I have mixed emotions. While I worked in the Healthcare field I have never experienced anything like this before. The surgical area was great. The food was above my expectations and delicious, more like good restaurant style food. The nursing care for day of surgery, not very attentive. I told them my son was sick and noone in any hurry to come in the room. The next time I told hit call button and said he was sick, no hurry and he threw up clear across the room and all inside his neck brace, like a fountain. Nurse Doug and 2 ladies in robes acted shocked when there was throw up all over the place. The ladies in the robes just looked at us like, what the heck. They cleaned up but left the puked sheets on chair. When son released the nasty sheets were still on the chair. The soap dispenser clogged in bathroom and not working. Anytime we asked for something they would say they would take care of it and would not show back up or hours later. The night nurse Nick and tech Sam went above and beyond and was great. Salom did good, but had a hard time understanding her. Was not aware of practices for ordering food and someone was supposed to bring info back and never did. Nick made sure we got info. If patient wanted water we had to hit call button and it was a long time before any responses from call button. Why not leave a pitcher with water and cup for patient, so they can have it when they need it. I understand short staffing and if that was the case and someone would have told us we would understand, but there was way too many times of us asking for something and had to retry again except when Nick and Sam were on duty.

I had cervical spine surgery here in June 2024 everyone was really nice from the time I walked in the door till the time I was discharged I never met a rude person. I wish every hospitals had this kind of staff. I got excellent care from everyone during my visit. Also the whole place was immaculate as far as being clean. Dr. Berg was also super great and did a great job. This place deserves 10 stars 5 is not enough.

While no one ever wants to have to go to an ER, I can confidently say that this experience could not have gone better. The entry process was very smooth, and I received focused care as soon as I presented to the medical staff. I was placed into a room, and received tremendous care from the physician, the nursing staff, and the therapists who attended to me while receiving treatment. While no one likes feeling sick enough to visit an ER, I felt like I was seen by caring, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional medical practitioners. I’m so glad this amazing facility is now in our area.

Everything about this visit, and everyone I saw from front desk to departure, was outstanding in every way. The facility looks like a vacation hotel — it is beautiful, calming and peaceful, and the doctor and technicians I saw were kind and thorough. My Nuclear Medicine technician, John, was so outstanding, compassionate, and kind that I wish he were a doctor and I could go to him for everything.

Dr. Snook performed my back surgery and all went well. awesome, great, caring & kind. I was treated with so much kindness and care. My entire medical team was amazing. They took such great care of me.

Had my knee replaced here a month ago. What a great facility! Everyone was so nice and the nurses were the greatest. Fast check in and they made sure my needs were met in an expedient fashion. When we went to leave, the battery in our car had died and they got us up and on our way in no time. Highly recommend Mount Carmel.

Great place to have a knee replacement. The room was spotless when my boyfriend came to his room from surgery. The nurses were very understanding and tried to make him as comfortable as possible, they had him up right after he had surgery and the next day he was able to get up and down stairs. What a wonderful place. Thank you.

My first time visiting this location. The chapel is so calming and the environment brings healing as well. Praying for all the patients, families, and staff at this hospital.
