The inspector for OEFFA was very heavy handed this year. This is the fifth or sixth time I’ve dealt with their process and after spending WAY too much time talking about all the forms, I decided I was no longer interested in their certification. It’s sad when your process hasn’t changed and you have an organic product but all they care about is a ridiculously long paper trail. I can see why so many farmers are choosing to leave the profession.

Friendly and helpful staff. This organization offers organic certifications for farmers as well as workshops and resources for farmers starting out. There is an education department and the certification department.
