The reviews prior to mine perfectly embody the current state of this school. There is the good and there is the bad. From what I've seen, it comes down to chance as to whether you will enjoy or dislike this school. Everyone, except me, either rated this school as 5 or 1 star. Unfortunately, it becomes too late to learn a teacher's flaws and switch classes and/or programs upon their discovery. You will get lucky and enjoy the school or unlucky and not enjoy it. This isn't set in stone; let the dice roll and may fortune be on your side.

I hate this school. And my lab teacher. We receive too much homework and not enough time to do it. They don't respect us or our complaints. When I first came in October I was bullied and no one took care of it. They watched but never did anything. Mr. Sink is so rude too! He said talking to us is like talking to a wall. And Mrs Norvelle is horrible. So is Mr winner. Don't send your kids here! You'll regret it!!

Most of the teachers are rude and dont care about the attending student. All the staff thinks it's always the kids fault. I had an iep and was treated as if it was my fault for it. I would not reccomend this place unless if you're doing a creative program like photography or graphic design. If you're interested in Natural Resource Management especially with Mr Berringer, do NOT attend. He is extremely rude and doesnt help you to learn. I would give this school a 0 out of 5 if I could.

My Son graduated from there last year in Cyber Security and Computer Networking. He has a great job and lots of opportunities going through the program. He was in the class when Covid happened and the only thing I wish was different is during his 11th grade year he had a full time experience instead of just coming in to lab one day a week. Thank God he is gifted and also graduated from Vandalia Butler Schools. So his success also was from his teachers, staff, College Credit Plus, conviction and dedication to learn and graduate and gained the skills needed to even overcome Covid 19.
They made him a portfolio of all his accomplishments, Got him a job in his field during 12th grade, and a sclorship for college. Would highly recommend.

This school is a joke 100 percent when I was a senior during my last week of school I was harassed by a group of boys in the parking lot and I went to the principal ms norvell and the male principal nothing was done besides “a stern talking to.” I was afraid to finish out the year and go back but had no choice I told many of the counselors and the principal that I wanted more done but I was told you have no right to say that
Another mistake on their part was, ms norvell did not think it was needed to call my mother over the harassment this school is a major fail as a female and colored student I thought this school would have been a good way since both principals are of color, there was also a teacher that was very rude to white students of-course nothing was done about her either, I was wrong to think this school was going to be a great step and I hope this never happens to another student. MVCTC can kiss my A**

My son attended school here and it was a waste of time, experience and money. His teachers and principal does not communicate with the parents. They never gave us access to portal so we could know how he was doing. They claimed there was a incident but could not tell us what it was and suspended my spn for a week. Then told us they will not give him his credits earned and we neede to sign him back into his home school because they no longer wanted him at their shool. Now trying to charge me for tools he was not allowed to bring home because they cant find them. Dont send your child here.

I was a student at CTC and my experience was terrible. As a student of color I definitely felt the teachers and other students where more hostile towards me. The school needs more diverse teachers. Also the biotechology lab does nothing. Our senior year in that class was basically a study hall. I came to that school expecting to learn a skill. I came out with nothing.
