We've had a great experience with the tutoring program and Sylvan Learning in Westlake. The assessments, learning plan, reinforcement and monthly parent reviews gives me a lot of confidence in the program. My child can be nervous in new environments and the staff goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and welcome. I've already seen great improvement in my child's grades, skills and confidence after just 6 weeks of lessons. I'd recommend Sylvan to anyone looking to give their kids an extra boost in learning and confidence.

I really like Sylvan, Westlake. I send both of my son here for extra learning . I love Beth and Rachel . They are so nice and explain nicely every process my sons are doing . My kids are both improving their skills . So easy and convenient location too. Highly recommend Sylvan!

We sought an extracurricular STEM enrichment activity for our son on the west side of CLE. We found Sylvan offers Lego-based robotics!!! The staff are extremely helpful in explaining options for plans/scheduling. We go weekly for an hour but there is so much flexibility. Our son is challenged by the teachers to think outside the box when building and coding his creations. He can't wait to go back each week! As a mom, I am also grateful for the flexibility if an illness or conflict comes up in calling ahead & being able to reschedule rather than lose hours.

This place is AMAZING!!!!! My little boy couldn't read when we starting tutoring here. He is in 2nd grade but was at the kindergarten level before he started here. He has excelled so much and he really enjoys Sylvan and Miss Susan so much. He looks forward to his sessions and now is at the 3rd grade level only a few months into his tutoring. He is now constantly reading. Before, he would refuse because he wasn't confident in reading. I can NOT brag enough about how Sylvan changed him into my little reader. His MAP score went up 40 points too!!!!!!

Sylvan has given my daughter the confidence she has been looking for! She looks forward to each session. Sylvan’s program is superb at identifying where the learning gaps are and tailors a specific learning path for each student. Positive reinforcement, with tokens earned to be used on prizes, helps the student stay engaged and interested in working towards a goal. As a parent, I love that it takes the frustration between me and my child out of the equation, because she is working with someone who knows the best way to help her. She is looking forward to continuing sessions, to advance her skills and feel like a superstar in the classroom! I honestly can not say enough positive comments about Sylvan of Westlake.
