My step son was seen by a therapist here, the therapist wanted no information from me because I am not a biological parent, however I was his full time mother because my husband has full sole custody and birth mom give up parental rights. The therapist was only concerned with push ADHD meds and had no concerns for helping him deal with his physical, and sexual abuse he'd suffered. Very disappointed in this organization and feel they should not be in business. They don't deserve any kind of rating a big 0

Beware, do not work here. I left because this place does not treat you with the respect that you deserve. I put in my two weeks notice and they immediately asked for my keys and told me to leave. I just received in the mail a can of soup that I left at the Family Resource Center. They are very Petty and unprofessional. They spent $9 to mail me a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. The entire office needs a revamp and I would be very careful bringing anyone here for mental health help when the staff themselves need it most The entire office needs a revamp

Be careful of this place. You are just a number. Your mental health is not priority. They are a business, and treat mental health as a business only. You are just a number. All staff speak bad about everyone sitting in the waiting room. I'd be very cautious. Find a place that cares about your mental illness, not just a payment option.

If I could rate this lower I would. I was sent to try to schedule an appointment from a referral made by your Troy office by the Supervisor of Telehealth. She assured me I would be in and helped in a good amount of time efficiently. If not she’d try to see what she could do. Come to find out I’m on a waiting list to even be scheduled! I’m on a waiting list for a waiting list!!! Everyone says they care about mental health.. I’m starting to be severely disappointed by our systems.. I was told by her and by my primary care physician you guys were good… but looking at how I’ve been treated and others if this is what good is considered now I’m beyond scared for our world…

Our child had a counselor who was wonderful, even communicated in emails when needed. However, our appointment has been cancelled three times from the facility within a two month period. We wouldn't receive a reminder phone call (which we made sure they had the accurate phone numbers), show up to the appointment, to learn that the appointment was cancelled. According to their computers they called to inform, however no phone call or voicemail was ever received. We scheduled two appointments with the receptionist, to learn the the receptionist never fully scheduled the appointment, so again we showed up thinking our son had an appointment, and didn't. Counseling is a huge need for adults and children, our counselor was amazing, when we were able to meet with her, which was not as frequently as our child needed.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! This center deserves a zero star rating. The nurse practitioner didn't even bother to show up to the appointment. My child waited more than 20 minutes past the appointment time and I was informed only after I asked that the appointment would need to be rescheduled because they couldn't reach the nurse practitioner. Then, I was billed for the appointment to boot. After just a few appointments with this place it was clear that the quality of the care from this center is dismal at best. If you want a medical provider that actually cares about your child and will give suggestions or actual "treatment" on how to handle a specific medical condition, then this is NOT that place. There also appears to be high turnover with their staff. Switching doctors and not using this Family Resource Center any longer was definitely the right decision!

I travel a half hour to see someone for meds, wasn’t even at the office for no 10 minutes, was told she wasn’t in office so I was going to see one of their nurses, then only talked to the nurse for not even 5 minutes. Kinda ticked I didn’t get a phone call saying she wasn’t in today, nor was I asked to reschedule. Was then expected to pay half or my whole bill after my 2nd visit when they take my insurance, they wanted me to go to an ATM so I could get the money. Not impressed with this place at all. It was definitely a waste of my time going there yesterday. All I’m saying is things better be made right. Not happy at all.

I'll start by acknowledging that there are some very kind, caring, & helpful people there. Joe & Aimee are both wonderful & do actually care very much about one's wellbeing. HOWEVER, if you need to get in with Rosa, who is the only person there that can prescribe medications, just forget it. She put my teen daughter on a medication that didn't work for her (through no fault of Rosa's), & told us we'd try a different med at our next appt while the previous one left her system. A week later it was clear that she needed to be on SOMETHING, so I called FRC & the nurse put us on Rosa's cancelation list. That didn't work out, so today, 6 weeks later, we showed up to our scheduled appointment with Rosa. As we're getting out of the car, they call to tell me Rosa isn't in today & now we have to wait yet another week. 10 minutes before our appointment!! It should be noted that Rosa lives in a different state & is only available via video call in office. You will never see her in person, & clearly she has zero availability even then. Save yourself the time, frustration, & gas money, & just go to your regular doctor for your medications. Do not go through FRC.
