Fantastic self defense classes! I've always wanted to learn self defense and their classes do not disappoint! I went to a long-form group class on a Saturday with Sensei Brown and the other instructors who were amazing and also came to a follow up shorter practice class on a Tuesday night and plan to keep coming back. Thank you!!

We are so happy at TKI. Sensei Brown is so great with our boys. You can tell how much he loves working with children. Karate is helping teach them manners and discipline. The studio is well maintained and clean with a fun atmosphere. Sensei Brown also offers fun events for the kids like Nerf War Movie Nights, and family canoe trips. Such a great organization to be a part of!

These guys are the best of the best! Sensei Brown and all the other instructors have instilled such amazing values and discipline in my son! He has learned so much and truly looks forward to every class and the high level of instruction and personal attention to detail. If you are looking to learn Karate, you will not find better!

Sensei Brown is the BEST! He is the perfect mix of fun and engaging as well as tough. The kids learn so much from him, including respect and discipline. All of his other instructors are phenomenal as well. The place is super clean and well run! He offers many other classes and events as well. We drive 30 min to get there but I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

i've been here for one day so far with my children, The guy who is in charge is absolutely amazing. He's amazing with children. He makes it fun while still learning they have their rules with certain things, but he is truly amazing. even the secretary is understanding and amazing and they are so kind. It's just the perfect environment for children.

I was introduced to this place via my son’s friend’s birthday party. Right after my 4 year old son wanted to take classes. He has done his second class so far and loves it. Almost certain we will go every day possible! lol Sensei Brown is awesome with the kids and they really look up to him. Highly recommended for kids and even adults.

My son started taking classes at his preschool when Sensei Brown partnered with them. He loved it and did so well we started at the Institute a couple months ago. Since then, I’ve seen such improvements at home and in school. I love that he’s learning discipline, structure, politeness and life lessons all while having fun! Also, everyone at TKI is wonderful with kids! I’ve already told and recommended TKI to friends and family!

TKI is a wonderful dojo and I would not hesitate sending my son there again. Sensei Brown is an amazing instructor and well respected by all. Yes, they do karate, but it is more than just that.
