A friend in Virginia bought me a gorgeous ceramic bread bowl as a wedding gift, brand new with tags from My Recovery Day on Ebay. That style of bowl had been my friend's traditional wedding gift for years but was discontinued by the manufacturer in CA. My Recovery Day happened to be 30 min from my house in Ohio. My friend corresponded with Bill before purchasing to be sure I could pick it up. After purchase he was very accommodating for me to pick it up when convenient. He showed me around the building where they provide computer/business/online sales skills and training to people coming out of recovery. I was moved by the experience, and was so pleased that my friend's unique and thoughtful gift benefited this wonderful organization!

My Recovery Day is a non profit organization whose mission is to help those who are recovering from alcoholism and addictions. Helping those to stay on track. Im not here for recovery of any kind im just here for community service, and i got to experience an amazing place with such amazing people. They really care about their community. The Amount of help they give others is beyond this world, and I would highly recommend. Its a great place for healing and recovering from whatever you are suffering from. Even if you dont need recovery help i highly recommend with volunteering/ donating whatever goods you may have so they can continue to their great work. they take old phones tablets computers (any electronics) books, cds, anything to help those in recovery. they just dont except clothes. Try them out. They do community service work as well.
