Place is a hidden gem. Hubs loves to golf. They have a FULL bar. Tons of golf carts. Big tvs. Heck even if you're close just come and enjoy the bar! They have keno. Plenty of beers on tap. And soon they will have a BBQ restaurant open up! Get a golf cart and enjoy some rounds. They are part of the sparks golf too

Honestly, any other course in the greater Toledo area is better than Timbers. Used to charge $15 for 9 holes but now it’s $26 and the money certainly doesn’t go to maintaining the course. Half the fairways are dead grass or dirt, none of the greens are nice, and every single tee box is a mess of divots and dirt unless you plan on playing from blue. Golf carts are all trashed with ripped up seats, there is simply no reason to pay the price they ask with the quality given. Better off going to Brandywine or any other course. Maybe the price would be justifiable if they gave an explanation to where it’s going and how they are using it to improve the course, but they don’t so.

It's been at least 10 yrs since I've played here, and it used to be really nice. That being said, I tried to golf here today, and it was absolute garbage. Everything was like playing on concrete because it probably only gets water when it rains. The tee boxes were bare ground, at least one with gravel on it, and some of them you can't even get a tee in. Played an unmarried hole that should've been #9 to then find #9 where #17 should've been.
I would give the course negative 5 stars if it was an option. Do yourself a favor..if they tell you that you can golf for free, go pay $100 to play anywhere else!!

Needs new ownership/management because I wouldn't pay this person to run a lemonade stand!!

Needs a little TLC but for the money, ya really should check it out. Greens are in good shape & there are some challenges that make for a very enjoyable round. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Horrible course. Not maintained whatsoever. Standing water all over the place (and it wasn't from rain) and the cart paths were so bad you could barely use them. Women's tee boxes weren't even mowed. Spend some money and hire a good groundskeeper and staff. Only thing good about the course was the clubhouse bathroom was very clean.

Won’t be going back any time soon. Had a 10am tee time, got to the tee box and there was a line of carts waiting to hit. Took 3.5 hours to play 9 as a pair, we quit and went somewhere else after the 10th hole. Course plays harder than it should due to poor upkeep. Hotdogs were great there for what it’s worth 🤷🏻‍♂️

After reading some of the reviews
I get why people don’t like certain things about Fallen Timbers fairways
But you have to understand as someone who’s worked there off and on a couple of years
I cherish working there
It’s fun I get to see friendly faces
Second some reviews I read is people complaining about the looks on the course
And you have to understand the weather any day of the week is a constant struggle
Like too much rain it leads to flooding and then it’s muddy and ruins the grass from cart tires
Plus with the amount of water a course gets the it can impact maintenance on the course
Just as an example
I get fallen timbers may not be able to compete with Toledo or Brandywine
But I would still golf at FT
Because my loyalty lies with FT

And another thing someone was complaining about the course getting rid of the driving range for the volleyball courts
We still have a range just not in the same area you remember
And times change
Like we used to have golf simulators now we don’t
We used to have a full drive range
We still do just half
Just saying think about what you are going to say before criticizing
Not everything is perfect and pristine even in the golf course business
But those who managed Fallen Timbers do a hell of a good job everyday

Nice front 9. The fairways are a little overtaken with clovers, which makes it hard to find white balls. They sell high vis orange and yellow balls at the shop though. Definitely not a beginners course.
