We moved mid-year from San Francisco, and we were so worried about transferring schools for my daughter since she was very happy at her old preschool. However, finding COG was such a blessing. My daughter, who is normally anxious in new settings, instantly felt at home because everyone is so kind at COG. It was only a couple weeks in, and she stated it was “the best school ever!”

We were only at COG for a half year before my daughter started kindergarten, but we could see the enormous progress she made during her time there. She learned so many new things, and I appreciated the social-emotional learning built within the curriculum. They also have so many fun and creative activities to keep the kids entertained. The teachers are all very thoughtful and intentional with how they speak to children in the classroom. My daughter’s kindergarten teacher was equally impressed with how well COG prepped her for the transition to school.

They have a weekly “sing circle” for families, and we love that there is such a feeling of community within the school. We still keep in touch with many of the families even though we’ve all branched out at different elementary schools.

As a bonus, COG provides snacks and meals that are absolutely delicious! My daughter was exposed to a variety of diverse foods she would have never tried at home. I only wish my daughter could have had a longer time with COG! My son is signed up to start in the fall, and we can’t wait to see him grow in the COG community as well.
