Needed fingerprinting services and my experience was quick and pleasant. There are signs near the parking lot telling visitors where to go and the lady at the check-in desk was very helpful. Make sure to follow the directions emailed to you before showing up (bring two copies of the form!). The appointment was easy and only took 15 minutes. I recommend making an appointment rather than doing a walk-in. I was told the fingerprints will take 8-10 business days to process, just to keep in mind.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. When I arrived I went up to the trailer and lady there was so kind and helped me where I needed to go. Fingerprints lady was also so nice and informative. Everyone is awesome here! Thank you!!

They really make it difficult to get anything done, won't provide any forms or print offs and require transcripts that have been submitted.

The staff at SDCOE have saved me tons of time, money, and stress by helping with my credentialing process. The state commission (CTC) is the worst run organization I’ve ever been forced to work with, and it has only been with the help of SDCOE that I have been able to navigate teacher credentialing.

I write to recommend DO NOT contact this Linda Vista office through any path nor any of its representatives. There are different bureaucratic offices of education around San Diego that can help you with teacher licensing; do not despair and keep marching forward.

I would recommend another source for CSET preparation as the videos that are offered for $100 were not relevant. They were from YouTube, disjointed, old, and contained topics not relevant to the CSET. This Office of Education has a lot of nerve not only selling these videos, but calling it "closely aligned with the CSET content". Very disappointing!

Furthermore, when I inquired about a refund, I was told that this was the first time that the HR person I was corresponding with had "received a complaint about it and it (the content?) was written by a multiple subject credential holder, also an expert in the field, who took the exam to ensure the content was comprehensive and relevant". Are you kidding me? There's so many things wrong with that statement! Suffice it to say, I cannot recommend this COE for CSET materials.
