Veterans: Avoid at all costs!
If you go here wanting to use your GI bill, they will send you in loops around the campus to buildings that no longer exist or are closed. After preforming your own reconnaissance, if you do manage to locate the illusive Veterans Affairs office they will do everything in their power to actively not help. Expect to receive an appointment time for a later date that they will inevitably forget about. Once you show up for your scheduled appointment, they will prompt you to reschedule as “they are not sure what you are talking about.” Save yourself the hassle of getting scammed and go to a real accredited college.

this is just a review of the parking lot design. which sucks. you think this way goes through. it doesn’t. oh this way will go to that parking lot right next door. it doesn’t. then you have to go all the way to the light to make a u-turn to turn right into the parking lot you wanted to go into but the other parking lot has a small dirt barrier that shouldn’t even be there or have an entrance into that other area where the fields are. whoever designed the parking lot is an idiot.

The campus was about the same size as my high school. I could see all the academic buildings from the center of campus. I ended up leaving after three years because they didn’t offer any digital media classes, which was really disappointing. I made a few friends, but there were a lot of unpleasant people as well, so I avoided talking to most. I hated going back and seeing people I used to call friends who turned out to be horrible. I suggest sticking to talking with people in your classes because trying to make friends outside of them isn’t likely to work.

I am a current student at San Diego Miramar and the school it's self is amazing the financial aid office on the other hand is a freaking joke. They flat out lie. They messed up gave me the run around for over 2 weeks and told me today that everyones financial was going out next week when in fact it went out last week. Instead of the financial aid office taking accountability or their incompetence they blame the student.

Miramar College is an amazing CC a great stepping stone towards transferring to a 4 year university or just working on skills. The campus is equipped with great resources (food pantry, academic support, clubs, sports, and etc). The small class sizes are a huge plus, as they make it easy to get to know your professors and received personalized attention. Overall, it's a wonderful place to learn and grow. Highly recommend:)

I started in 1989 . Came back in 1991 after working with the San Diego sheriff's academy. Took my 12 units from the Sheriff's academy and applied them for my A .A degree in 1996 . The college was the best times of my life in a lot of nice people and a lot of activities and I just excelled and went traveling after my before my graduation from Miramar I lost some teachers that were very close to me Steve koons was one of my best for political science I miss him dearly. Anybody starting off now play your cards right work hard like I did it took me about a good 5 or 6 years of finally get my associates cuz I stopped and go and wasn't sure but when I finally found out what I was good at I excelled and I had a lot of tutoring but the tutoring helped me Miramar always be in my heart
