Have been using A plus America for about a year now. Overall experience has been positive for my kid. The math doctor assessment helps you understand which level your kid stands at and what are the gaps that need to be addressed. The tutors are alright. Some of them are really good while sometimes few just provide the steps rather then explaining the concept. Almost monthly follow up call to discuss my kids progress is also a great way to understand and next steps required to move ahead. Overall it has been a good experience

A PLUS AMERICA. My grandson was struggling with his math assignments. I saw the ad for A Plus and decided to give it a try. The best decision I made. The program is professional, knowledgeable and was very patient in showing my grand son how to solve problems.

The program also taught him independence and maturity since he needed to work independent. When he came upon a problem he was having a problem solving, he needed only to call the number given and a tutor help him solve the problem.

I like the curriculum-based lesson. However, it would have been great if they had tutors to introduce the lesson to the children. Leaving the children to read and do the work themselves is not the best. If the parent does not have the knowledge to help the child, it is not worth it, especially if your child is not grown or good enough to read and understand concepts themselves. Math needs to be taught to kids in elementary school. They cannot read and understand concepts themselves. I think you have to change your model to include tutors to introduce the topic with examples, then you can leave students to do the question as an assignment.
