I had Shannon Payfer as my driving instructor for all 5 of my lessons. I thought she was an amazing instructor. She made me feel really comfortable right from the beginning. She just has this awesome personality where you felt so comfortable on the road with her. She nicely would remind me of certain things to look out for and important things to remember for the behind the wheel test. I drove down different roads gaining good experience for my test and was able to go on the freeway a few times. I practiced my parking, and a couple of practice driving tests with Shannon as well. She made my experience the best! I definitely would recommend her as a great instructor for Cantor’s driving lessons.

I purchased their Copper package and chose Shannon as my instructor — and I'm so glad I did! She is patient and calm (even in the middle of mishaps on the road), and she made sure to help me practice the maneuvers that I would have to do during the actual behind-the-wheel test. Our driving sessions were collaborative — I had the freedom to choose how to spend my time and she also gave me clear directions and guidance.

Shannon was great! She always arrived on time, and ready to start the lesson. She was very informative and even wrote notes on areas that could use improvement. I just had my last lesson with Lysset Castellanos and she was amazing! She gave such clear instructions and out of all 3 lessons, my driving skills have increased a lot because of her good and clear teaching. Besides her being my driving instructor, she is such a nice and happy person and would have conversations with me in the car! Definitely a 5 out of 5 instructor!

My wife and I utilized Cantor’s Driving School for our 19-year-old daughter. Shannon Payer was the instructor, and she did a phenomenal job teaching her. Although our daughter was somewhat hesitant with learning how to drive, Shannon was great at giving her the confidence and skills necessary to be successful. The first two lessons were a little shaky, but by the third lesson, it really clicked with our daughter, and we could see her becoming an increasingly conscientious driver. By the fifth lesson, and with regular practice, she was ready for the DMV Behind-the-Wheel Drive Test. She passed on the first try! Shannon is very knowledgeable and has this very calm, even-keeled demeanor about herself. She was clearly instrumental in giving our daughter the confidence and skills necessary to be very successful in passing the Drive Test. Thanks for the awesome job, Shannon!
