On 12/2/2023 my 21-year-old son had an accident that did not involve other vehicles or people. I put my son in charge of the claim so that he could learn how to deal with everyday life. AAA adjustor Natalie Mazzi decided that my 21-year-old was an easy target. After about 4 months of Natalie trying to manage my son I got involved in the process. My son had not responded promptly to some of the emails. Once I got involved, I ask for her supervisor to be involved since she was not very truthful with her emails. Her supervisor Paul Avalos stated that they could not find more than two vehicles that were sold in the United States for price comparison. He encouraged me to do MY OWN research. I di do my research. I found about 30 vehicles from 3 different site that were comparable to the vehicle that AAA declare a total lost. The price was double what Paul and Natalie have come to. Two months went by with our Paul or Natalie responding to my email. I file a complaint with the California Insurance Comision and by a miracle AAA Natalie send a check for half of the value of the vehicle when you look at the sale price of 30 comparable vehicles in the USA. I email Paul and Natalie to let them know that this was an unfair offer, I ask them to look at the 30-vehicle price average and to include interest since December 2023. It has been a week and no reply from Paul Avalos or Natalie Mazzi. AAA did this to me back in 2015 the adjustor was Jesse Borrego. He called me and I was having a bad day, I called him every dirty name that I knew. Two days later I had a check for a fair amount for my claim. Is this the only way to deal with Insurance companies? I signed up with AAA because they are supposed to be the best company in the USA. Best at what? I file a complaint with the California Insurance Comision, BBB, and now I am starting to post reviews about my experience with AAA. AAA is not a chip company to be insure with, I can get a much cheaper company. But they are supposed to be the best? Should I get a lawyer next?
