I graduated from HCU in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and loved the experience so much because of the knowledge, concern, and Christian love of the professors and administrators that I am now working toward a Master of Divinity with emphasis in Biblical Interpretation and Theology.

One of the best places to get a degree in biblical studies and train for local ministry. HCU offers a wide variety of options for minors (undergraduate) and emphases (graduate). In addition, the core curriculum in both the graduate and undergraduate are balanced and challenging. You can get a quality degree both on-campus and via distance learning. This wonderful university will bless you in many ways should you choose to take or audit classes.

I am a graduate of HCU, Class of 1998, and would highly recommend HCU to anyone wishing to strengthen their Bible knowledge. To be honest, not sure what difficulties/lackings or other things that Anna Adams is referring to in her review. I have come back after 17 years to work with HCU and continue my education because they are VERY Biblically sound. Sure, some classes use books not published by members of the church of Christ, but since when does the church of Christ have the corner on the truth, historical writings, or Biblical interpretation. Any good university is going to use the resources available to properly educate it's students. Same with Faulkner, Harding, Freed-Hardeman, and other respected brotherhood universities. Also, the student-staff relationships are beyond compare, and very enriching. All activities and devotionals are open to both staff and students alike. Nothing is done here unless it would be pleasing to the Lord. In my opinion, if you want a sound, Biblical, Bible based education recognized around the world, then HCU is the place. I highly recommend it for people of all ages. Come and see for yourself!

My daughter got a top rate education here. I am so proud of her. Funny thing when her mom died in a horrible hand gliding accident she took to Jesus like a duck to a pond. Whereas my faith is as dead as a cold fish.
The schools Indoctrination of faith is a 10 out of 10. My daughter's relationship with her divine pretend friend is borderline fanatical now.
Overall, a great affordable education with maybe a tad too much Jesus.

I graduated from Heritage Christian University with a BA in Biblical Studies. This is a focused, private, Bible college with a singular focus on biblical education. I believe the current administration is doing great things and headed the right direction.
