We rented a pair of Canoes to paddle lake Nicol. Canoes were in good shape, well designed and clean. Life jackets and paddles in good shape and very clean too.

Rec center provided help, straps and foam blocks for easy transport. Staff is friendly and enthusiastic, especially Maggie.

Is this a community center or a student rec center? This facility is beyond dirty and falling apart. Can't believe they even have tours through this place. If you're a student looking at BAMA this is really the best you get. And the fact that they ticket student vehicles here makes no sense - Get a crunch membership and forget about this god awful place.

This place is actually awful. Very minimal machines and barely any squat racks for the amount of people that come. No ab equipment what so ever. Or anywhere to do an ab workout. There’s barely any treadmills. It’s almost impossible to ever get one. For the amount of money we pay to go to this school, and the amount of students that are here, this place is a disgrace.

Has barely been updated since it was built it seems like. They just added some more squat racks to address the GLARING issue of having 3 racks for 40,000 students, which is nice. But as the main gym for most of the student population, it’s jam packed basically all the time except weekdays from 9am-1pm. Friendly staff and the gym is clean, but the members it seems don’t really know how to put weights away or keep the equipment nice

The rec is always insanely packed, a workout that would take 30 mins is closer to an hour and a half with how much you’ll have to wait. The equipment is all old and quite dirty. Despite having no signs stating it, parking IS NOT included in your membership or with tuition. Go spend 10$ a month at crunch instead of 3$ an hour here.

Told me I had to pay extra money to work out with my boyfriend. I pay a lot of money already to attend the university and guest passes aren’t free for students? beyond disappointed. I hope they use they money to actual improve the gym, because the equipment is trash, there’s only 2 squat racks, rubber on the dumbbells is coming off, and the machines are old as dirt. they don’t even work properly.

Great place to work out or just have fun for any student! The staff is friendly and hard working. Only problem I have is that there are only 3 squat racks and it can take 15 minutes of waiting to get one.

Great place to work out. Has a huge number of things you can do and a ton of great equipment. The staff is always very helpful. Immense amount of resources to take advantage of. Great value, especially for students.
