Average wait on the phone over 2 hrs only for the person that answers to give attitude and solve nothing. One day I called the millisecond the lines opened and I was caller #9, ended up waiting 1.5hrs. Businesses throughout the state have to deal with this place to get CMV plates and they used to be polite and helpful, but now they just reference the website and say your submission is in a queue and this office has up to 14 business days to complete your submission. I have paid these people thousands of dollars over the years. Considering a more business friendly state.

My experience was horrible. I spoke with someone named Robin. I was told about the fees that I had on my account. Right now I’m out of work due to having a new addition added to my family and can’t get unemployment because they denied me because of my inability to work now due to pain from birth, I was told that the fee could not be waived and that I needed to reach out to a local church or family member for help with the fee to get my tag. I was also told that there was no manager available in the office until next week because they were on vacation, but I was also given the email where multiple supervisors can answer the email, but it’s only one manager in the office? That makes no sense to me, but you would think there would be one person in the office willing to help someone going through a financial hardship, but that is not the case. So I guess if you’re unable to pay the fee, you just stack up tickets if you’re unable to stay at home and you don’t have anyone to pick up anything for you. State of Alabama has to do better. Then they tell you that you can file an appeal and that it still may not be approved.

I spoke with a white guy named Ryan. He was rude and just didn't get it. I felt that if he didn't want to hear my answer/ question, he should have dismissed himself!
