This school has been the best school we have attended. My son has ADHD, and this school has been the best fit for his needs. The classroom sizes are just right, the teachers are very intuitive and very involved with the students and their success. Communication is great! They are always open to suggestions and looking for better ways to accommodate students and parents. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE STAFF!!! I’ve told so many parents about this school. I am so happy we found this school after moving here from California. I’m proud to be a part of the Archer family/community!

Coming from Los Angeles being in so many high schools this is a GREAT school. Does it have its challenges of course. Is it perfect of course not nothing is.They have less students so they really keep an eye on kids. Are students gonna complain of course.Most students are from the suburbs. Regardless it is a good school.

Teachers are not great, other than the math and science teacher. The grading process is horrible, and the communication between the teachers and the parents is atrocious. I’ve sent many email that have been ignored and unanswered. My child is extremely smart, and transferred from a prestigious school where he took mostly honors classes, but here they offer no such thing. They are graded in large part as a group, and not individually, so when the other students slack off, all in the group pay the price. I kept my student in here for 2 semesters and transferred him out as soon as I was able to get him into a better school.
I have spoken with other parents who share the same experience, but have not been lucky enough to find an open spot in another school. Before enrolling your child here, please ask about the grading procedure, and think about the fact that in some classes the students grade the work themselves , and in others they are graded as a unit, not solely on the individual students work. The amount of teaching going on here is questionable, and the workload the students have is minimal, it’s definitely not a high-school for higher education.
