The most dishonest practice of selling and getting people to sign up for subscriptions and rewards in the business. We had a wonderful experience until we checked out with Gray. He asked about a rewards, I said no thanks. I don’t want to sign up for anything. At the end of the process he said you get three magazines free today. I said okay thanks. What he didn’t say was these were magazine subscriptions and they would have to be canceled. When I realized that he dishonestly signed me up for these subscriptions I refused to sign the slip and asked for the manager. The assistant manager Attic was absolutely zero help. She said sorry the transaction is over and you’ll have to cancel it yourself. Absolutely horrible process. I literally said I didn’t want to sign up for anything at the start of the transaction. Deceptive and unacceptable. I returned everything I purchased and will never go into a books a million again.

Cashier was slick with her “oh do you have number with us”? Not do you have a membership or would you like one. Just asked do you have a number, no, okay then what is it, name, address . Didn’t add in oh and I added a $25 dollar membership fee to your bill!! Says the total….I asked how is it this much, so I look over the charges and see the $25 added that was never asked if I wanted it. I said take it off and she proceeded in trying to convince me what a savings I just got!!! I had it removed after a back and forth…I have never had this ever happen ANYWHERE!!

I go in here at least twice a month. All the employees have been friendly but it's hard to find someone to help you look for something or ready at the checkout line. However, they do have a visible sign up stating the store is hiring!

Super shady. They pretty much force you to sign up for “free” magazines and don’t mention that they take your card information at all. Then they try to get you to sign a sheet allowing them to use your card information, and try to get you not to read the fine print. Blonde girl told me that it was “implied” that they would be using my card information. Extremely shady people working here. Don’t come here unless you want your card information stolen.

good place to just look at books. the employees seem to only care about selling you on the memberships. All the books a million in our area closed so we definately were not doing that. We were on vacation from atlanta. no joe mugs coffee at this location which would have been nice.

Selection was okay, organization was lacking in comparison with the other large chain bookstore. Checker basically berates you with 10 different things to donate to or credit cards to sign up for and reacts poorly when you say no thanks..

Very nice book store with a great selection I'm glad they had one when I was in town they closed the one in my hometown several years ago
