By far one of the most poorly managed school district in Tucson. The reviews on google should be a clear indication on judging if you should send your child to this district.

I can't go into too much detail.
There are hundreds of policies in place to give the impression of a well oiled machine but everyday in every department the policies are completely and utterly ignored. When these choices are reported as is mandatory which is another policy they are either waved away or ignored completely. Unless it benefits the supervisor in charge and their personal feelings towards the individual being reported. The unprofessional, rude, and unhappy choices made by the higher ups trickle down to the bottom feeders all around TUSD is a poorly managed and miserable company in its entirety.

Don’t send your kids to school in this district, especially if they have special needs. Having an unqualified paraprofessional teach classes for special needs instead of an ACTUAL TEACHER is hugely unethical. It’s also happened multiple times in this district. All children deserve an education.

As of being a student and still a student, I have gone to 2 tusd school they weren't half bad but this network thing now is a problem. Students relay so much on laptops in this district they have no motivation to work on paper again. Almost all my classes need the laptop, don't tell me other wise because they do. Tusd I don't think you realize this but school in general doesn't help and highschoolers and middle schoolers who will begin to hate school more will only see why the network is "Soo" important. Maybe if we were learning about jobs and insurance I'd like to go to school more often. The school board is sojacked up I don't have the appropriate words to say.

I am all for teachers receiving proper pay, but to strike and walk out because you think you deserve more than what you originally agreed to, and hold up the school year, with our children's education in the balance, is not okay. The average median salary for public school teachers in Tucson is $51,004.00... The average median income for all of Tucson is $46,764.00... It would seem that you are making more than the average adult in Tucson, and should be happy, or move where salaries are higher, because as a ratio, you are ahead of the curve. plus, you get Summer off, and all of the school holidays... ?

Always receive prompt and professional service to all of my issues. I think some customers become frustrated that they are sent to different departments in different parts of the building. TUSD is a big district with many employees. It's reasonable that different offices handle different kinds of problems.

This district is poorly managed and needs some serious auditing completed by the State department. My daughter was physically assaulted at school and the district nor the school did anything. I was even told by the principal of the school that he was busy working on another project that took priority over my daughter safety. I would not suggest anyone put their child in TUSD. They have a severe bullying problem and blame the child being bullied.

TUSD has no policy in place to ensure the safety of children in school zones. They place blame on TPD for not enforcing laws, TPD states that it is a school issue. Parking and traffic laws are a joke.
