Roger taught me the science of photography. This is the best class I have ever taken. I have read so many books, articles and watched YouTube videos, no one has ever shown me the techniques of light as a science. I had an amazing time learning the art triangle practically. I am so grateful to Roger. My photos are already looking great and require less to no edits!

Roger is top notch! We're so fortunate to have someone of Roger's caliber right here in Tucson. He is a natural mentor and that's truly invaluable to artists of all levels. I approached Roger with some very old family portraits that I had access to for just a very short time. I wanted them professionally scanned to preserve them without losing any detail. Two of the five pictures were in pretty bad shape having been knocked around for well over 100 years. Roger invited me to drop them off and he found out exactly what my expectations were and shared his restoration vision that included skills I hadn't anticipated. We agreed on a price. I was able to pick the originals back up the very next day and the work was completed within about 24 hours! The finished product exceeded my expectations. Now I will be able to share these images freely with many other descendants of my great-grandparents. Roger is so awesome. I've been to 2 3-hour sessions and they were super helpful. Roger isn't some self-taught dude trying to make a few bucks on the side by showing you how he specifically uses OCF. He has been doing photography for a long time and he knows a lot about all of it.

He had a quick answer to any random question I came up with. For example, I wasn't there to talk about mirrorless but it came up and he was able to explain to me the pros and cons and the science behind it and even tell me about specific models that recently came out and what was cool about them.

In addition to being an amazing source of knowledge and skill, he is also super chill and fosters a relaxed learning environment.

I highly recommend booking any kind of photography learning session you need with Roger, you won't regret it.

He provides great insight, has a very discerning eye, and provides you with techniques to help master and perfect your skills. I have attended a workshop and a private lesson with Roger. The workshop was on Flash and Lighting. I just bought a new Sony Full Frame camera. The workshop was a great intro on how to work with light. There were four participants. Even though I am new to more advanced photography Roger made sure I understood everything. He was so good about answering questions. I also attended a private lesson called Getting To Know Your Camera. I have a pretty advanced camera and Roger broke it down for me so I could understand. Every class or lesson has hands on practice. I have already scheduled another lesson.
