If you’re even thinking about possibly riding a motorcycle in the future, you should seriously consider taking the Basic Ridercourse offered by TEAM Arizona. The instructors are professional, courteous and they genuinely want you to succeed. They share knowledge and insight from their own experiences, but the courses themselves are clearly the result of a highly refined teaching process based on best practices. Courses are held in a closed environment, safety is paramount and every instruction is given with the utmost attention to detail, as well as demonstrated. Ben and Esther surpassed any and all expectations I had, and frankly gave me the tools I needed to boost my confidence as a rider and to continue my journey by building good habits based on their thorough instruction. TEAM Arizona also offers other courses to further your motorcycle training and are dedicated to helping people become the best riders they can be. Many thanks to the folks over at TEAM Arizona and The Motorcycle Safety Foundation, I will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic time at the Enhanced Basic Rider course with trainers Eric and Noah this weekend (5th and 6th morning range). Both are very personable teachers, who applied their attention to detail to effectively help me eliminate bad riding habits and improve my riding safety. They were professional, clearly communicated targets and goals throughout the course, and offered constructive feedback after every lesson. Not to mention Noah was goofy and made class time lots of fun

Participated in the beginners class these past two days. Sessions were tons of fun! Both coaches, (Bobby and Ben if I recall) were fantastic and skilled instructors. We had 11 people in the class and I felt that everybody had their share of attention. If a rider made an error or had a question, they were never rushed if it meant a little delay. Everybody had their focus when needed and allowed to excel. When you did well of an exercise, that was made known to you with commendation. But if you made an error, the coaches gave helpful and straight forward tips to help you get it the next time.

I had some difficulty with the u-turn box exercise and asked for some pointers. The Ridecoaches made sure every question I had was answered and that I received the needed coaching to successfully complete a u-turn. I later practiced the same setup on my own Bike in a parking lot and felt very confident. I was able to complete multiple figure 8s using full lock in my bike. Super happy with the tips and pointers.

I am beyond pleased with how the course was ran and HIGHLY recommend taking it. Money well spent. One of the most important things I took away was not only being able to complete the exercises given, but seeing the setup can allow me to replicate them in my own time. Definitely bring a lunch and a water bottle, be prepared for the sun and heat. Plenty of breaks were given.

Thank you!!!

I took the basic rider course on March 8th-9th with Mike and Esther. I had absolutely zero motorcycle experience and had not ridden a bicycle in years (most other people in the course had a learner's permit and some riding experience), but both of the instructors were super patient with me and the other novice riders. I truthfully did not expect to pass the exam but miraculously did. I'm so thankful that they didn't give up on me.

I had so much fun in the basic rider course and felt a lot more confident towards the end. They do step by step teaching that focuses on one technique at a time but is still fast paced enough to get through a lot of material. You get both group teaching and some personal coaching like feedback and tips. My knowledge about safety, fun, and skills has definitely improved. Ben and Noah are super cool coaches who provided a low stakes environment, but still focused on getting us to be safe and pass the test… I’ll definitely be back for another course.

Attached is a photo of me practicing in my neighborhood after class. I don’t think we were allowed to take photos there.

I am 72 yo and began riding when I was 16. I moved out of state a few years ago and didn’t transfer my endorsement for motorcycles (long story). Then my son bought a bike. So, I needed to get my endorsement in order to ride with him. While I was confidant with the skills I had, there were some maneuvers I always had difficulty performing. This course showed me why I was having difficulty and more importantly, taught me the techniques I needed to overcome it. Also, Noah was an awesome teacher. He had patience, excellent motorcycle and teaching skills as well as sense of humor. I’ll be back to take more advanced courses. Oh, it was fun.

We had the best time with our instructor Eric! He had patience and made sure we were always safe! Definitely recommend the introduction class prior to the basic rider course! Thanks to Eric for making me more comfortable with motorcycles! I can’t wait to take the next class!!!
