Nice moderate hike to a dam and lake. Lots of people and parking was kind of hectic but we went at one o'clock. There were some bikers but I wouldn't recommend biking as there were just too many people hiking. 4.5 miles round trip. There are some opportunities to go down to the river which would look more inviting in the summer!

Really great little hike out to Clementine Dam. The base of the dam is a really nice picnic spot, too, and few people go down there even though it's not hard to descend the trail that leads to the river. Definitely worth the hour-long walk!

This hike is relatively easy, covering at least 3 miles. It is dog-friendly and well-maintained, making it suitable for families with kids. If you plan to visit the dam, wear shoes with good grip to avoid slipping, and be mindful of your footing. Enjoy the hike!!

The Lake Clementine hike is a fantastic outdoor experience, perfect for those looking to enjoy nature and stunning views. Approximately 3.5 to 4 miles round trip. The trail offers breathtaking views of Lake Clementine and the surrounding landscape. The trail is primarily dirt with some rocky sections. There are shaded areas along the way, but some parts are exposed. Be sure to stop and take photos along the way. At the lake, you can enjoy some relaxing time by the water, perfect for a picnic or just soaking in the serenity. The views of the lake and surrounding hills are stunning, making this hike great for photography enthusiasts. Overall, the Lake Clementine hike is a rewarding trek for both novice and experienced hikers. The Lake Clementine hike is a gem in the Auburn area, offering a mix of natural beauty, exercise, and tranquility. Whether you’re hiking solo, with friends, or family, it’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and take a break from everyday life. The trailhead has limited parking, so arriving early can help you secure a spot, especially on weekends. Enjoy your hike 😊👍✌️

Parked on the side of the road and walked to the green gate and followed the trail til we found a really nice spot to pull our wagon down to. Spend a few hours at the water! We enjoyed our time here. It was calm and mellow. The water was cold and nice for the hot day. MAKE SURE TO WEAR A LIFE JACKET! The current will pull you in if you're not paying attention or don't know how to swim. Would come back here again, we know water safety so it's a cool spot.

Easy to moderate trail. Good for adults, kids, and pets. It is better to arrive early because parking gets full easily. There is a $10 parking fee and make sure you pay to avoid the ticket. There is a slight elevation on the trail and it's a 2 hour in and out hike.
