I love the tutor doctor. They take the time to match your kid with a tutor. We had Quiin, he is very nice and knows how to engage with my kid. After a month of turning, we started noticing my kids improvement. Tutor doctor not only help them catch up with assignments, but they teach student strategies to do better in school.
I cannot recommend tutor doctor enough, it's the best investment you can make if your kids are struggling on school.

Four years ago, a friend's son was admitted to college at UCSD. During a visit from Seattle, where he is a professor at the Medical School there I told him how impressed I was with his son since UCSD is a tough place for college admission. This year over 50 thousand students applied. Early tutoring, my friend replayed and told me how the TuTor/Doctor in San Diego had played a significant role in his school performance and college preparation. I turned my attention to my grandkids, now 11, the girl and 14 the boy. Couple of years ago their school performance was just average for the boy and not that good for the girl. Immediately , I realized that I should be more involved in the kids education and asked my daughter if a gift supporting their participation in the TuTor/Doctor program would be well received. Today, . the girl who was deadly afraid of math is now doing wonderfully; her school work is remarkable and math school test are no longer unwelcome. Her school performance is at the 60 percentile while the boy is around the 90th. I am happy with the change my grandkids are experiencing. Could not thinks of a better gift that I know will l positively influence their future life.

Awful experience. Pressured me to sign up by her husband, when I did finally, I’d text Tiffany to see when we can get a tutor in after spending 20 min on an application and half an hour taking a call with her. A week passes, no response or follow up. Then I tell her I’ll look for another company- I get an immediate call from Tiffany, promising she has a tutor and will email me the name that evening. That she apologizes because her mother is ill. Another week passes, I follow up again, no response from Tiffany. Three weeks pass and no response. Very unprofessionally ran and wasted 3+ weeks time that I could have had a tutor by then. I eventually had to find another company.

I highly recommend Tutor Doctor!  My son was struggling to maintain a low B in an advanced math course with 8 weeks left to go in the semester.  He is normally a good student but didn't grasp a few concepts and was falling behind.  I decided to call Tutor Doctor because my son's friend also uses them.  I spoke to Chris Lien, the owner, about my son's situation.  He instantly knew the details of how the math class is taught and is familiar with my son's school.  He was confident that with some help, my son could get back on track.  Based on my son's characteristics, Tutor Doctor assigned a tutor who they thought would work best for him.  He had the option to meet in person or Zoom.  We chose Zoom, twice a week.  My son's tutor Matthew McMahon is fantastic! Matthew helped my son review some areas from the past that he didn't grasp and worked with him in more detail than his teacher did on his current assignments.  My son enjoyed his tutoring lessons and they helped him immensely.  Tutor Doctor also provides an update report after each tutoring session so you can understand what was covered.  We are thrilled with the results as my son went from a low B to an A in his class!  We plan to continue with Tutor Doctor next year as they really do provide that extra help that a student may need to succeed.  Tutor Doctor is very well organized and well run.  They do a wonderful job understanding the student's needs and assign the right tutor for the job.  Again, I highly recommend this company!

We have had an amazing experience with Tutor Doctor! Our 8th grade daughter has struggled with math for a long time, and we have tried a number of services that did not seem to help at all. Her weekly, in-person sessions with Stephanie have made a huge difference in our daughter’s confidence and her performance on tests and quizzes. Tutor Doctor directors took time to match us with the right tutor and Stephanie has been an amazing fit. She is kind, gentle, and compassionate and patiently supports our daughter in learning new skills. Our daughter feels safe to ask questions and looks forward to her weekly sessions with Stephanie. I cannot recommend this service enough—everyone we have interacted with has been amazing!

Chris, Tiffany and the Tutor Doctor team have been fantastic to work with. We have been working with them for about 18 months now and they have been able to match us with some great tutors.
