Japanese American Community Cultural Center has an excellent resident chef, Chris Ono who presides over the open kitchen usually from Thursday thru Sunday.

Haute Cuisine from a Japanese American perspective. Tranquil view of a tranquil Japanese Garden will put you at rest.

Reserve on their JACCC website.

This is such a special place, a small slice of beauty hidden deep in the city. I go to relax and just breathe. Over the years small things have changed but the core of peace and tranquility has always remained.

This is a beautiful and refreshing place to visit . But because of its close proximity to Skid Row it is dangerous at night.

This small garden packs a punch of beauty. It's amazing how you can fit such diversity in such a small footprint and yet it's accomplished in the Japanese gardens. From the bubbling stream that goes through it to the statuary and to the amazing plants this is a must see.
