I am a certified teacher with 16 years of experience. I teach for the love and passion I have and I tutor to make up for the shortfall in my paycheck. Tutor Doctor is much cheaper than any other learning center plus every session is individualized to meet the student’s need and we come to you! My tutoring sessions remind me why I became a teacher. Parents who care and students who actually enjoy being tutored, even on a Saturday! All of this enthusiasm and hard work pay off very quickly. On average results can be seen after the first 2-3 sessions. Tutor Doctor is a great company to work with and our office manager Colleen makes sure that everyone is satisfied. She is able to balance fantastic customer service with the needs of the tutors. We never feel that we are by ourselves and clients needs will always be addressed. My experience with Tutor Doctor has been nothing short of excellent. I gave them my information and skills at a job fair, and a few months later, Colleen (the tutor coordinator) contacted me and said she had found a perfect client for me. I have tutored four different people since then, and each one has been a great match. It’s the perfect way to supplement my income as a college engineering student, as I am able to collaborate with my clients and find a time and place that works best for both of us. Tutor Doctor’s website, Learnspeed, is a great resource for communicating with clients and their parents so that we can keep track of the times and locations of future sessions, how long we’ve spent working, and what we accomplished.
